Witter-Harris Final Predictions

I honestly see this as a 50-50 fight and think the smart money is on a Harris wins at just under 2/1. I think he wins a close but fair decision, with Witter in denial afterwards. Have a feeling this may be the most entertaining fight Witter has been in - I hope so anyway.

Yeah, I can't split them. If it finishes early I like Witter, if it goes the distance I like Harris.
So put your money on a Witter points win.

I'm going to go with Harris by a late TKO. Hopefully, no matter who wins, there is a clear winner in the fight.......

Witter wins by KO in 5-6 rounds.

No idea. Harris looked good before Maussa. A few good wins since then but Maussa's style unsettled him and maybe so will Witter's.
I'll say Harris on points or late stoppage but its always difficult with Witter. He has good power when he uses it but often goes into his shell.
Just hope it isn't another Witter stink fest.

Nah, Harris went in to blow him out inside 2 rounds. When that didn't happen, he didn't have a plan B, then he gassed, then he got KOed. He won't do that against Witter.

Would love to see a KO from either side but don't think their styles will gel well. Hope we don't see any of that fencing posing nonsense from Witter.

Famous last words.

Ultimately though we were both well off the mark. Though no one could have predicted that. Again though I thought Harris fell apart mentally like he did against Maussa when things were going against him.

Yeah, I was disappointed in Harris. Not sure where he can go from here. The number 7 isn't good for him, same round that Maussa finished him.
I'm not Witters biggest fan but I have to admit that he was really impressive tonight, I just wish he'd fight like that all the time, even when he's fighting the Colin Lynes's of the world.
I reckon Malignaggi is 50/50 still, Hatton 60/40 (Hatton) and he cleans out the rest at 140.

If Rees can keep his belt then thats a good fight for Witter. Almost guaranteed belt to add to the one he has. Witter's power on that showing would be far too much for Paulie's feather fists. He would slaughter Torres as well but no way the Colombian comes over here for that fight. He's getting far too many favours at home by all accounts.

Malignaggi does have a solid chin though. He took some heavy shots from Cotto but never looked like getting KOed despite and early knock down.

Witter's got a good resume. N'dou, Kotelnik, Corley, Morua, Harris. Clearly the #2 at his weight. British, Commonwealth, European & WBC titles. Not bad at all. I'm eager to see him keep adding to it. Good to see a fighter who stays fit. IMO a threat to Hatton.

Brendan Ingle was bitching after the bout about how they picked Harris to win.
