As well as the heavyweight bouts already mentioned in another thread, the BBBofC website says Anthony Small and Takaloo are due to meet for the vacant Southern Area title.

Tak said only last week he wanted a shot at Bradley Pryce and i would expect Small would want a rematch after the controversial stoppage he suffered.

It would be a great bout if it came off and would make sense for them both to keep busy since Pryce has already got a fight next month, but would either be prepared to take such a risk for a small gain, and where would the loser go after it?

I'd actually favour Tak to win this one in about 7-8 rounds, Small looks good early, but Pryce wore him down quite quickly once the first 3 rounds were out the way. Takaloo has a good chin, so i think he's weather the storm early and just outlast Small, who seemed to have some stamina problems against Pryce

Small did seem to be concerned about using up excess energy and as he moved to the ropes his punch output suffered and he was less effective. Last i heard Small was due to face Gary Woolcombe for the Southern Area title. Not complaining as Takaloo will do just as well.

Tak's probably past It to beat Small now.
