Froch has never been cannon fodder for anyone!!
I think you'll find that Porras was cannon fodder for Froch.

It's true, Porras was the opponent, Froch was the star as such.

Dont see how Froch could have been the star in only his 2nd fight - I think it was just an undercard fight, the seasoned older fighter well past his best against the beginner - A good test for a new fighter in the pro game.

who said it was Carl's second fight??
Dont people remember this match, it wasnt that long ago?? It came directly after he blasted Damon Hague in their East Midland derby for the British cown.
I remember it happening well and Carl was the attraction/up and comer although I remember contemporary reports saying he was hit more then he should have been..

Oops, I remember the Damon Hague fight very well but this was one I didnt see - It was the Abrahams fight that was his 2nd and I wrongly made a comment on that one.

The link was broke but it's working now.
Porras was a good costa rican fighter in his day and KO'd current IBF 168lb champ Alejandro Berrio a couple of years ago.
