Boxing Parents/Relatives/Oldies

My dad was telling me about his 1940's boxing days up in Townsville QLD. He was 17 and he and his brother had a few professional fights. I was stoked I found them on BoxRec. Also found my uncle won by a KO back in 1950.

Anyone know where any advertisements or pictures of the old time boxers can be found?

TIA

If you can find out the dates of fights, you may try newspaper morgues. By the way, that is not where they bury journos, but where they store old newspaper stories.

You might also try the National Library of Australia Catalogue in Canberra.
