Audley Harrison will fight Paul King on the undercard of Woods vs. Gonzalez. King has five wins and eighteen losses.

Audley says he wants to "shake off some ring rust" and said he will be fighting again in Nov or Dec.

Paul King has lost his last 13 fights.

I really cannot stand Audley.

Apparentky King is Hatton's bodyguard. Any truth to this?

Maybe Audley will justify the fight as it's with the bodyguard of Britain's best fighter, so he has to be able to fight.

I'd respect Audley more if he were fighting MARK King.

At least he's got some power in his thumb.

Does he therefore now hold the keyboard championship?

IBM have order a rematch as Spud claims he was hit by a beer can.

of Jonathan King, that would be about the only fight Id support Aud in now after he fleeced me and ten mates out of 80 quid each for his effort vs Williams at the excel. (same with Danny)

Let's just say the above fight was an exhibition. Something like the Terracotta Army visiting London, only more popular.

I can't get the thought of a 'toy soldier' being exhibited in Vegas out of my head now. :TU:

What a joke. Even coming off a KO loss Harrison should be aiming much higher for a return opponent.

As for shaking off ring rust, Harrison has had many breaks in his career and didn't feel the need to shake off ring rust against a complete knockover job.

its a hideous opponent, but might earn king a bit of money more than normal, so, as he works for fight academy then its a bit of 'you scratch my back and ill scratch yours' ..

personally id rather audley fought collis king (good all rounder) or burger king or even juan king !!

Good fight for Audley.

He is about the same wack as King.

Even match.

Good signing for Hobson though, Audley wil sell a few tickets.

Probably needs it to sell a few for the totally unecessary rematch of Woods v Gonzales

Terry D wrote:Hopefully Audley can produce a good display and get busy.

Will the fight be shown by Setanta? He's had a pretty decent spread. BBC. Sky. ITV. Setanta and the US networks.
According to Audley's own statement, it will be shown.

Crap match; let's just hope Audley can get a stoppage at least.

He needs a totally masterful stoppage tbh with a match like that. Anything but domination would be criticised.
