Just wanted to know who is everyone backing in the Napa-Haskins British bantamweight title match up. My money is on a Napa points win.

Going by Bet365.com the odds are:

Napa KO,TKO, - 5/1
Napa by Decision - 1/1
Haskins KO,TKO - 13/2
Haskins by Decision - 9/4
Draw - 16/1

What do you think?

Naskins on points for me...Love to see Napa win.

Those odds say it all, a 50-50 match from Frank Maloney. If I had to bet my life on it, I'd go for Napa, then change my mind and plump for Haskins, then Napa, then Haskins...

Its tough to call, but I reckon Napas more orthodox and tidy style will carry him to a points win

I'll side with the man in form and that's Napa IMO, but I agree it is a tough one to call.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Haskins deals with a class operator at 8st 6lbs. He was outclassed last time he stepped up to championship level, but clearly Napa doesn't punch anywhere near as hard so should be able to get away with a lot more mistakes this time.

Nice match on the undercard, Woolcombe v Rushton. I don't know if it's chief support, but should be a good tussle.

I pick Woolcoombe to come through in this one.

Sometimes winning the Title can lift a boxer to the next level, get some true belief in themselves, look at the recent Simpson v Morris for proof of that.
I think Napa might do the same, he's worked so hard to get the title, i don't see him losing it straight away. Haskins will push him close, but Napa has a good chin, and excellent skills. A close points win for Napa. Might even be controversial

I can see Napa stopping Haskins sometime around the middle to late rnds.

Just not convinced Haskins heart is half as big as his ego

I remember how he looked as if he wanted out in a previous fight when he couldn`t do as he wanted...Chris Sanigar really saved him that night...and his defeat kinda confirmed the doubt.

Napa on paper can`t punch, but I see him hitting Haskins enough to get him disheartened enough to look for a way out.

Nice 1 Napa,Anybody know how it was going till the stoppage.

Be interested to find out what the exact problem was with Haskins right arm.

Looked very much like the wrist or maybe even arm...couldn`t or wouldn`t hold it up to protect himself.

Seen many times a guy with hideous damage done to the hand still use it to block or go through the motions of punching with it.

Sad for both guys really..

Haskins for the damage...and he really seemed to switch back on when the corner noticed it...just goes to show what potential he has when in the right mind.

And for Napa..I along with the commentators could see the tide turning after the 3rd...didn`t Napa`s corner in the 2nd rnd say something about going to work in the fourth

I`m not gloating(much anyway) but couldn`t you see the confidence all but leave Haskins as he walked back after the 3rd.

Anyway..felt sorry for Napa because I could really see him getting a proper stoppage.

Haskins can put this down to injury and no loss of rep...but he really has to look at how he once again got disheartened...only to show how he had enough talent to more than compete with only one arm.

1st 3rnd were all Haskins...throwing lots and landing very little...something like 200punches missed in the 1st 5rnds

4th onwards Napa getting on top with nice solid(yes solid) punches to just nick the rnds....even had Haskins on wobbly legs walking back to corner

I do respect Chris Sanigar, fantastic coach and servant to boxing, but was he telling a bit of a porky after the fight. Seemed like he was telling Haskins between the 5th and 6th round to continue - even telling the doctor "it not serious" and a "little bit of a sore arm".... In the post fight interview he said he wanted the fight stopped the round before and Lee insisted on continuing - "so we gave him one more round" - not quite how I heard what he was saying, perhaps I am wrong.

Good fight, I am quite surprised to hear that this was the first time Haskins has suffered an injury - his punch technique is asking for it. He throws nothing straight.

I do think Napa was on course for a proper stoppage, but it will be interesting to view back when exactly the arm/shoulder give Haskins' problems occured- cause he was looking too quick in the opening 3 rounds.

Fair do's to Haskins, he showed some bottle that I didn't think he had, and I was saying it between the 4th and 5th rounds - he looked beaten mentally. He picked himself up by the 6th... fair do's.

yeah you maybe right, there was a fella, maybe haskins dad or a close friend that was calling sanigar a wa*ker and a c**t for about 15 minutes after the stoppage, loud enough for the entire hall to have their eyes fixed on him. He was absolutely fuming, i assume because sanigar alowed it to continue. i couldn't believe he didn't get thrown out.

There was a lot of t0ssers at York Hall last night. I decided to take my girlfriend along to sample the atmosphere but there was two fairly major fights in the crowd and lots of unpleasantness.

Not what you expect at York Hall :(
