Anyone could name 10,possibly 20 bigger fights since Hearns-Leonard that have taken place outside the heavyweight division.

Man Pavlik would get owned by Calzaghe, come forward guys with basics are made for Joe.

Imagine how big Pavlik would be at super middleweight? He would have hell with Calzaghe's speed but Pavlik would tower over him and those hard straight punches will give him an advantage (in a way) over Joe who can't hit with full power anymore. It's great that Joe's in the mix in a glamorous era, but now the $$ fights are here, his hands aren't so good.

Not as much as fighting Hopkins. Plus Hopkins is a guy from his era wheras Pavlik isn't really. Pavlik is the easier option of course.

I think Joe will beat Kessler but I cant be really so confident about that outcome - It will be Joes toughest fight, at least thats the way it looks, but we all thought the Lacy fight would be and look what happened - Now Hopkins has passed his peak I would say Joe should get the win but Hopkins still has enough to give Joe a lot of problems - Taylor would also be a very tough fight with victory to Joe being a bit uncertain - Pavlik although lighter than Joe would be a massive handful, but Joe has the speed to beat him on points - If Joe gets through the Kessler fight, Pavlik would be a very exciting opponent with huge interest both here and in America - Then if its possible Hopkins, Taylor and Woods followed by retirement.

Taylor will enforce that rematch clause, so Calzaghe should go for the Hopkins fight IF he beats Kessler.

Taylor is the better boxer as well so if he can keep out of trouble IE Pavlik's big bombs then he should win the fight without too much trouble.

Pavlik's name suggests he is of czech/Slovak origin.

This is a very BIG fight IMO. 2 very experienced undefeated natural 12 stoners who are clearly the best in the division, it don't get much better IMO
