Jamie Moore will be taking on the Light Middleweight European Champion Zaurbek Baysangurov - purse bids due in the Rome offices sometime in October.

I honestly think Jamie has a terrific chance of beating the bloke - in my opinion the guy is relatively in experienced with only 16 fights to his name and in addition looking at the record the only name that impresses me slightly is that of Rubio.

What do you lot think - do you give Jamie a tremendous chance of winning the European belt??

I saw Baysangurov on the undercard of the last Klitschko fight, he beat Bayram for the Euro belt. He looked okay, a young kid learning his trade and put his shots together well enough, he faded a bit in the middle rounds and was quite dirty but skilled and has potential. The Rubio win is solid enough as Rubio can bang a bit (think he had the kid down early).

It's a fight Jamie can win i think. Depends where it is held as to whether he gets a fair shake of the dice but Moore has the skills and balls of a lion and he can break this guys heart. Good fight.

I really hope Jamie does the business - one of the most honest and hardworking professionals on the circuit.

Thanks for the insight into his opponent - These Eastern Europeans are really sprouting from all over the shop - problem is when one of our fighters is matched against them sometimes we do not have a clue what they are like. It is all too easy to say our fighters will win simply because we know nothing about the opponent - worst trap an enthusiastic boxing fan can fall into.

The stand-out result is against Rubio. Got knocked down but won widely on points. No shame getting decked by one of the division's biggest punchers, and the wide scores suggest he has good technical skills. Rubio is a bit one-dimensional but a fringe contender nonetheless.

Moore's got the better CV but Baysangurov's definitely got promise.

Good fight; hard to call.

Defiantely looking forward to this one. Hopefully it'll be in the UK at a bigger venue than a lesuire centre. I'll definately be going to cheer him on

Hopefuly Universum wont be putting in too high a bid, otherwise it'll be a trip to Germany early next year...

It is Sauerland that he is co promoted by.

Maybe. K2 won the pursebid for the Bayram fight, the might also bid for it, and National Box Promotion will probably also make a bid.

What has FW got to do with Moore? I thought Maloney promoted him. If they are up against Sauerland then good luck to them, he doesn't lose many purse bids, unless he doesn't have a massive interest in Baysangurov. Can't see the Klitscko's being too bothered but as they won the bid for the Bayram fight, who knows.

I hated the Bolton Arena, not really suited to big events, portaloo's outside, having to go out in whatever weather to get drinks and food etc. Rip off for parking.

He has looked ok but like you said, Rubio is his best win and I've seen a couple of his fights- including Jantuah - and he is erratic at best.

Jamie won't cave in, he'll keep coming and fully deserves this shot. Hopefully it wil llead to the world title he deserves.

That was on the DLH-Hopkins undercard, i was there, Jantuah caught him with a left hook and that was it good night. Rubio is decent though, his fight with David Toribio was exciting enough.

I just can't get past his daft moustache....
