I’ve taken it out.
Reliable source told me it wasn’t happening. If it was it would’ve been inserted on IBO site by now.

The fight is still going ahead as planned there have been a few hiccups as to the venue of the fight but rest easy the bout is still happening.
And Anton it's time to get over the fact Greeny didn't fight your little friend Kamoko

Tarver-Blades on Dec 1st!
IBO light heavyweight champion Antonio "Magic Man" Tarver (25-4, 18 KOs) will face former world title challenger George "Honey Boy" Blades (21-3, 15 KOs) in a twelve round main event on Showtime December 1st. Blades, who is coming off a world title shot against unbeaten WBO world champion Zsolt Erdei this past June, was elated about his second opportunity. "Many people don't ever get a chance at a world title and I'm getting my second chance in the same year. My peformance this time around will be a complete 180," stated Blades, who is advised by Lee Bates. WBC 154lb champion Vernon Forrest (39-2) faces Michele Piccirillo (48-3) in the opener. The card appears headed to Foxwoods.

If Drews wasn't fighting Mendoza that would be a good way to go, IMO.

I just had a look and George Blades in ranked below Paul Murdoch, the guy Green knocked down and TKO'd with a jab!?!
Would it be of any benefit for Green to KO someone like Prince Badi or Elvir 'Elvis' Muriqi? If nothing else it would be a win over someone with a decent ranking and a little bit of name recognition...

he has to fight someone, at this syage of his career he cannot afford to be inactive. though he has to imo, fight at least a top 20 ranked fighter

Unfortunately this is now being reported all over the internet. There has only been a press release on the fact that Tarver is now fighting Blades on Dec’ 1, no reason for the change. It seems like he is taking the easy option while trying to set up a payday now that Gary Shaw is starting to talk up a fight with Dawson. I bet the deal has already been done and Tarver doesn’t want to mess things up by taking a chance with Green. I never knew why Tarver accepted the challenge from Green anyway, it was only going to end in pain for the Magic man. Cardboard belts are all he deserves now, his time is past.

Just a lil from Justin Manolikos
Tarver will still be fighting Danny Green in Connecticut on December 1, according to Green's manager.
Justin Manolikos yesterday refuted media reports Tarver had pulled out of the bout to fight fellow American George Blades instead.
Those reports about Blades are totally false,'' Manolikos said. Danny is still fighting Tarver as planned on December 1 and he will be coming home with the world title.Maybe Blades' manager thought they had secured the fight but they haven't.
Tarver is still fighting Danny who is in Perth at the moment and ready to go back to Sydney to continue sparring.

I think Greens management fucked this fight up, It was reported in our local news that they were trying to get the fight in Perth, Why the hell would Tarver come to Perth to fight. Green should have bent over backwards to make this fight as he needs it far more than Tarver does.

Danny Green and his team are very anal.
He should fight another bum and pad his over-rated record.
