With all due respect and I do respect all fighters I didn't think that a KO against Martin Concepcion put one in the frame for a world title honnors.

A lot of fighters have done a lot less than Pryce to secure a world title fight, Gavin Rees in just one fighter that springs to mind.
In fairness Bradley would def do himself a lot of credit fighting for a title and if FW wants him to have a shot he will have one.
Furthermore if FW wants him to win one he will

didn't allegedly offer a title shot to the winner of Williams Skelton Sprott Harrison or something.

Yes he did but FW changed his mind.
If FW wants to get any of his fighters shots he can do so.
If any one disagrees with that, I just have to say Gavin Rees

true but just as it was unjust for rees to get a shot so would it be for Pryce. With Rees Warren had a fighter who was a world champion at the weight which makes the fight easier to make aswell.

Just or unjust, who cares, there's plenty of undeserving fighters get a crack at a title, it's almost the bloody norm these days, the sanctioning bodies have become such a joke, why not Bradley, bloody good luck to him I say.
I think Bradley's record belies his talent, and while and outside shot, the idea of him winning a title is hardly totally implausible.

good luck to him, i like the kid, he has got guts and heart in abundance, he also posesses power and some skill...not a bad mix for a wbo/wbu tilt i reckon.

I agree, he has served his apprenticeship and beaten Anthony Small and then Concepcion convincingly, if it had been a toe to toe struggle then i would have reservations but he bombed Martin out of there. There are far less deserving fighters getting shots all the time and i hope Brad gets his chance.
Saying that i wouldn't fancy his chances with any of the top boys, Forrest has too much experience, Spinks too slippery, Karmazin too good and Dzindziruk also too good.
Still it's worth a chance, who holds the WBU at Light Middle??

Good luck to him, but I do think it says a lot about modern boxing that you get a title shot through saying you want one rather than earning it.

??? Pryce is in a much more justifiable position than Rees.
Rees had last fought at championship level 6 years earlier at 3 weight divisions below. In the meantime there were long periods of inactivity and the odd fight against the usual suspects.
Pryce on the otherhand has competed at championship level at the weight for the past three years and has fought regularly at championship level for the past 6 years.
In this time he has always fought creditably, therefore being far more deserving of a shot than Rees

He's probably worth a european shot but just being more desrving of a shot than rees does not a championship caliber fighter make.

It just makes you wonder how on earth Rees got anywhere near anything resembling a world title. I mean i'm not slating his ability or potential but world title shots should be granted on achievements and he hasn't even won a British has he?

Pryce won't get a world title shot and he's not good enough to win one anyway. Even the wbo belt holder is good at light middle, so Pryce has got no easy route to a title. European level is his limit.

he mite get a shot cos the sport is corrupt however I aggree he will not win out although he might get WBU

Pryce can get a shot so long as he is in the ratings, if they can make a nice offer to one of the title holders, then why not?
It's nonsense to suggest it is impossible for him to get a title shot.

As impressed as I've been with him in the last two fights, come on, these were only two good wins at domestic level. How long ago was it that he lost to Jennings? Olusegun hammered him about 3 years ago and it was totally one sided. This is a bit daft. He's not reached Euro level yet - I'm saying all this having enjoyed watching Pryce.
Is he being a bit pretentious?

Since when have you gotta be Euro champ 2 a get a world title shot?

No one said it's impossible, but he won't get one. If I had a quid for every time a British fighter said he wanted a world title shot it would be me on top on the rich list and not Bill Gates. Pryce is not world class and FW does not have a history of getting many of his fighters title shots outside of the WBO title. And like I said I can't see Pryce even getting a WBO title shot at light middle, because the champion is actually good and he's based in Germany.
This is a another pipe dream debate, and it really doesn't have much substance behind it. It doubtful whether Jamie Moore will even get a title shot and he's a fair bit better than Pryce in my view.

Well I was thinking of WBO. Warren has a good relationship with the WBO, him and Sauerland are their manstays really, and know what side their bread is buttered on.
It's possible that Warren could lure the WBO champ over, though of course it will require a nice payday to do so. I don't see Pryce fighting his way into a mandatory.
I'm not saying it will or it wont, but fekk me, stranger things have happened in boxing.

FW ticket sellers get world title shots
If they are not that good they get a shot at the WBU

If he wants a World title maybe he should tell his team to not refuse British title shots........... , I like Pryce but the best I can see him doing is winning the British title soon to be vacated by Jamie Moore(after he beats Facey he'll face Baysangurev for the European so he has to) and making some defences of his commonwealth and the European title till he gets himself a good ranking in one of the sanctioning bodies , be they World or EBU .
But I can't see him even winning a European title without quite a lot of luck .
Getting Dzinzurik over to the UK would be pointless , it'd cost a fortune and he'd just be far too good for Pryce .
Pryce is 7th with the EBU and 31st with the WBC(the only body that have him ranked) , it might be a while before he gets a title shot .

If they managed to get Bobby Gunn a top 10 ranking(or Gavin Rees for that matter), i'm sure FW would do the same for Pryce if he wanted to.
As I said if FW wants his fighter to have the shot they will get the shot.

He'll get a Euro title fight and lose it, that's his level, a bit like David Walker.
....and look what happened when Walker got in with Moore.....

it would be helpful to step up naturally rather than jumping from Commonwealth to "world" which to me is foolish.
