I am wondering if there is any footage going around of Thompson, or if anyone here has seen him fight.

I have read that he is a good talented fighter.

I have only seen a few photos of him.

I seen Thompson fight live in the early 1950 a few times. I'll get back and tell you what I remember about Thompson.

I've got some of Thompson's press clippings. He was and hard swinging heavyweight who went down a bit more than Box rec records. Not very skilled based on news reads, but he sure gave the fans their monies worth.

This is not the fighter I was expecting when I heard the name . Was there not a fighter ( heavyweight , obviously ) of the same name ...was at a height of about 7 feet maybe even more ..50s era I think . May have even fought legendary strong man Paul Anderson ....
