What a mismatch.

Way too early for Foster Jnr. Athur isn't a particularly special fighter - easy to hit, but he is strong and tough - ultimately has too much "man" strength for Foster Jnr.

I'd give Foster Jnr a shout at the Johanneson vs Gomez winner. Think that is a winnable fight for Foster Jnr (although he'd probably start as underdog).

AA is in another class IMO but that said Foster will not be an easy night - Both have KO ability so it should be exciting - After the loss to Gomez, Alex has learned to respect fighters who can bang and Foster certainly has heavy hands to do the job - Its no forgone conclusion but the most likely outcome is a win for Arthur.

Maccarinelli-Sellers and now this!?!....of the SN young stars, the least experienced, Amir Khan has the toughest challenge ahead of him...

I'd be surprised if Foster lasts more than 4 rounds....Arthur is big at the weight and in an entirely different class

Didn't It take so many shots for Gomez to stop Arthur though? From what I;ve seen Arthur's chin Is Iron. I don't think Foster will hurt AA.

To be honest I am shocked that some of you guys are writing Foster Jnr off.

This is going to be a very good fight.

AA can be caught - and foster can bang. I can see Foster stopping him.

Steve seems to suit the weight more. But he's no more than a Domestic level and Arthur will win on points or late stoppage.

Didn't see the fight but Fosters win over Codet looks a good one. Ok, everyone beats Codet but very few stop him as quick as that.

Having said that Foster has done nothing to earn a shot at a WBO title. It's a no win fight for Arthur really but I don't think he'll object.

For all Arthurs bluster about wanting to compete at the highest level I'm told he turned down a fight with Robbie Peden in what would have been an IBF eliminator title last year even though Warren was willing to bring the fight to the UK.

I suppose as it turned out it was a sensible business decision but I'm sure Warren wasn't too impressed when Arthur kept moaning about not getting the big fights after that.

Does Arthur use his height advantage well enough? I know Arthur's a slow starter and then uses his strength to overpower them being big for the weight.

Rees Is faster than Foster though and just kept outworking M'Baye and Baye didn't seem to want to do much else, Arthur won't mind brawling Foster If Steve went forward putting on the pressure.

The WBO has Foster rated but at Featherweight.

Strangley above Nicky Cook but lower than Derry Matthews.

The WBO has seemed to stop rating British title champs alot like they used to on the their latest rankings. Wasn't the British champ always rated highly when there was only one belt too?

Disappointing match and hopefully Warren's recent policy of matching his leading lights against smaller men from his own stable won't continue ie Matthews vs Marsh from the weekend.

It's difficult to see anything other than Arthur comprehensively outboxing Foster, busting him up and stopping him late. Steve will keep trying but is rather one-dimensional. Having said that Foster, along with Enzo Mac, possesses one of the best left hooks in Britain. Incidentally, this was the same punch thrown by Michael Gomez which had Arthur in so much trouble when he was beaten.

So Foster has an outside chance but he must start quickly and place Arthur under immediate pressure.

Surely AA will have improved his defence to the left hook in the 4 YEARS since the Gomez fight??

I know from his more recent fights that he is always going to be a little open but I certainly can't see another situation where he is wide open to hook after hook - it just won't happen IMO.

You can forgive Arthur this fight for a first defence but I would want to see him in against an internationally renowned fighter after this one..
