Thought he came over really well. A breath of fresh air to have ana rticulate, funny champion. We might have heard it before, but I reckon it'll have been interesting for the general public.

i know what you are saying - but what I am saying is that he is famous enough now to change the record cos they know him already

You think? Dont think he's appeared on prime time terrestrial tv enough to be that famous. I know for one thing it was the first time my old cheese had seen him on the box. Thats the level he's being recognised by now.

People say they are getting tired with the same Hatton talk, but Joe public hasn't heard it before. Us boxing nuts have because we watch every Hatton fight interview, buy the book, buy the mags and read all the quotes on the net.

I think he was the perfect advertisement for boxing on Parkinson. Came across well, was funny and said he is one of the lads and down to earth cos that's the way he is.

Agreed even my Nan commented on how 'funny' and 'nice' he seemed, then started asking about him. Although she still thinks im crazy for going to vegas for the fight

Didn't his biography get taken off the shelfs because of wrongful claims about the Phillips fight?

I'm not sure but I got my copy a while ago. I read a small article recently in a newspaper saying you know who had won 3 libel cases within the space of a few weeks. One was against the publishers of this book.

i do believe that was the bloke who turned up on the day or something then said I'm only boxing if you pay me this much! so the whole thing nearly fell apart.
But like I say I might have got it totally wrong, tho' to be fair that's never happened before.....actually I've got the autobiography here but I've never actuall sat and read it from start to finish, i've just dipped into it here and there and read big chunks. I'll set a bit of time aside for it.
By the way if anyone wants a really good book to read they should get Chris Eubank's autoB'.....I got that book in hardback in my local library (sorry Chris ) on the Friday and I had finished it by Sunday lunchtime it was excellent.

It's too early for a Hatton biography anyway, the book had some good stuff In It but he used alot of his humility to fill the pages.

The best story was when he went to girls house then went out to find some rubbers and then couldn't find her house afterwards.

The story about Hatton and Billy Graham doing a bunk from a german hotel after running up a large bar bill is quite funny.
