According to Boxing News they seem to think Sellars is out of the Mac fight.

Standing by as a possible replacement Rob Calloway

Only been stopped by heavyweights as I can recall and went the distance with McCline last year.

Our Aud broke his jaw during his run towards the heavyweight crown and stopped him in four, of course this is still rumours but I like to think the power of you guys has gotten through to persons that matter and Ezra is out.

Although if it is Calloway whilst its an improvement its not the right direction to go following a Braithwaite win, Enzo really could have made a statement against someone else but he is again in a no win situation even if he does it quicker than Audley. I already think he packs more power than the big man so nothing to prove there for me.

Still thats the news - whether its true we will await a press release, although if it is I have to wonder why no one at a certain office has let anyone know because the BN goes to press Wednesday and they knew then, we are now 2 days late and no announcement.

At least Calloway as been active and winning fights - albeit at a much lower level. Also had been in the rankings before, not appearing mystically. Has also been in with some top heavyweights so it would be a good gauge of Enzo's power.

Bring back Bobby Gunn

Saw Calloways recent win over Terry Smith, and Calloway has improved alot since Harrison stopped him. He showed alot of heart in that win, he knocked Smith down with a good right at the end of the round, if it had landed earlier he probably would have stopped Smith.
Also he seems to have learned how to survive when hurt, Smith laid it on to him in the last round, but Calloway moved, grabbed and punched when he could to get the decision.

Of course you might not be able to strenghen his chin, he can be KO'd , but he does give it a go. I don't mind seeing him get his chance.

No doubt Stacy will be on here singing his praises. This is almost as laughable as the people on Current Scene trying to argue that Calloway should face W KKlitschko.

What do we expect?

Enzo to take part in 2 consecutive contests in which he is not a massive odds-on favourite to win?

Calloway gets a bad rap because he was no more than a club fighter at heavyweight, but he's improved a lot at cruiserweight and has got the results to prove it. He's a solid challenger IMO.

Yep Frank has really DUG DEEP for this one.

Rob is certainly on a winning run alright, he even knocked out Buck Smith this year, a welterweight we saw over here 18 years ago, knocking out Kirkland Laing!

Although he's not top draw, He is a decent boxer, who has some good wins. I don't mind seeing him over here

He is okay and will certainly make Enzo work for a few rounds

i like the look of robs record, and the good thing is he will certainly not be in fear of enzo spaghetti, shit, he has faced the lik of big time mccline etc..

I don't mind this fight as much as Sellers, there is no pretence about how good Calloway is, he is the top of the journyman class and offers certain skills and certainly a lot of pro experiance had we had the Sellers fight we would have to put up with the Enzo beat the guy who beat haye shit.

Should be competitive and difficult to beat certainly difficult to KO.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jeremy Williams as a late replacement - a decent name and a big cruiser - didn't look good last time, but that could be down to motivational problems.

Yep, the fact they're matching this guy with a 100 year old ex welterweight pretty much sums up what this is all about: a typical midwestern, white journeyman heavyweight, building up his record by fighting bums, so he can get a WBO shot in the UK or Germany - where I already saw him blasted out a few years back.

This guy is a sitting duck for Enzo, and FW tries to make it look a bit better by announcing an even worse opponent the week before, then pulling in another guy, SLIGHTLY better than the last.

He's been just as inactive having a 3 year brake to compeet in UFC or what ever. Don't see much value in that although he may be a potential title fighter in 5 fights time.

Enzo is world champion now the criteria for a fighter for him to face shouldn't be "a decent name... didn't look good last time" it should be "one of the best cruzers in the world.
