There's a new book out on Jim Jeffries, and word has it that it is very good. You might recognize three BoxRec Editors names in the reviews:

Great news! I love to read about those old timers and have been looking for a book on Jeffries for years.
Looking forward to reading this.

If you like reading about the old time fighters, I can recommend the book "Boxing Day" by Jeff Wells, about the Jack Johnson v. Tommy Burns fight.

I will indeed get "Boxing Day" too. I am interested in bios on all the lineal heavyweight champions in history, especially pre Joe Louis era. I have bios on quite a few, but some of them are hard to find, like Bob Fitzsimmons'.

I don't think there has ever been released bios on Jess Willard or Gene Tunney, but I am hoping that there will be in the future.

Thanks for the "Boxing Day" tip.

I thought Tunney himself wrote the autobiography "A man must fight", thought I'm not entirely sure.
