The original date Is only 2 months away though and he would be already In shape coming off the Gomez fight?

Dont think it will happen personally.

Obviously just my opinion but after the Kirakosyan loss it would seem Carl has "found his level" as some put it.

Mitchell is just that bit better in every department for me. Hes younger, hungrier, faster, technically better, hits harder (maybe). I just cant see past a Mitchell win for this one.

Just had a chat with Carls uncle today when we were both visting a mutually sick friend, and he was a really decent bloke. So I'm a now a converted Carl fan, although I liked his style before.

Don't get me wrong, we know Carl can be got at, but Mitchell isn't the man to do it.

Too bloody right, we've had fekk all to get excited about in a long while now.

I just sat back and thought of all the great matches we've got coming up and suddenly got all excited!

A bit random i know, but besides the cracking Mitchell-Johanesson fight, theres Haye-mormeck, hatton-mayweather, calzaghe-kessler, all possible classics, to look forward to, then just think of the potential match ups after that!

I think the threat from MMA and the rejiggling of TV contracts has made a big difference. Boxing was in danger of being without a home on the airwaves at one point, so the promoters have had to pull some tricks out of the bag.

When was the last time two English fighters were ranked P4P top 10, not in my lifetime I dare say.

the UFC meatheads have to say that. they seem to have a huge chip on their shoulder. i think boxing's been damn good, on-and-off, since 2004

Mitchell has better speed and movement, but none of us know how he fares in a real fight.
