Jesus, thats a £10 hike from previous ones. I had a feeling it might be £19.99 but this is a bit of a pisstake. Then again PPV's in the US are $50-60 a go so comparable.

Yeah, but that's because they are dumb enough to pay those prices every few weeks.

I don't think the price for a fight like this will make much difference to the number of viewers in the UK. The one's who are going to buy it, will and the ones who aren't, won't.

25 quid sure is a bitch though. There will be a lot of people who feel robbed if the fight doesn't live up to expectations and let's be honest, there is a decent chance of that happening, especially with Mayweather involved.

Going to watch this one in the pub so the home buy in cost, whilst harsh, shouldn't hit home to bad!

There are two reasons i'm not buying it:

1) The principle, disgraceful pricing i won't pay i refuse. Shocking.

2) I don't have a SKY box.

I am against the principle of PPV but my little protest if I didnt buy it wouldnt be noticed so its shut up and buy - Anyway PPV fights are few and far between so it wont break the bank - Also its a very special night for British boxing and it may be a very long time before we see anything to equal it so £25 is a small price to pay on that basis.

This Is probably because the Hatton's or GB charged Sky a huge amount for the rights to view It.

I will buy it but the problem is its going to set a precendent and if it sells well, £25 PPVs will be hear to stay. It may well put off casual sports fans. Boxing will be pushed more udnerground because its beyond the reach of the average man in the street who isnt a fanatic like us

If Floyd KO's Hatton, then there might not be many PPV's in the UK. Remember DLH vs Floyd was "Free". The only PPV fighter in the UK now is Hatton and if he retires (and I don't think Floyd retiring Ricky is out of the equation) then that is the end of the PPV for a while yet.

Any idea of a UK leg for the PPV - Surely there has got to be at that price. No wonder they are hyping it up weekly on Sky.

I think SKY have really shot themselves in the foot this time! If they had kept the PPV price reasonable nearly everyone and their dog would've coughed up for this one but now I see only diligent boxing fans and devout Hatton supporters parting with their cash.
SKY need a rethink on this one!

It could be an awful fight, and it is hardly Hagler v Hearns is it?

I a looking forward to Khan v Earl (FREE) Calzaghe V Kessler (FREE if you are on SEtanta) Haye v Mormeck, Cotto v Mosley and in the new year Johannsen v Mitchell which I will go to and record.

I think there is enough on to give Hatton a miss, and pinch the highlights for free elsewhere.

Since Zoo, Hattons career has been a complete anti climax.
