I often think of the great black fighters who fought mostly each other from 160 thru heavyweight and never got a shot at a title during the 40's and 50's:Lloyd Marshall,Dixie Kid,Jimmy Bivins,Holman Williams,Cocoa Kid,Jack Chase,Rusty Payne,Curtis Shepard, and Charlie Burley(did I leave anyone out?). Archie Moore finally got his chance when he was 40. Imagine if these guys were around today? If nothing else they'd be making some money.
