Is it true the show starts at 8.15pm? What are they going to show for the best part of FOUR hours before the Mac fight?

And what time does the broadcast finish? As I'm going, I need to set my recorder.

The Setanta TV schedules show it finishing at 03.00.

and it does start at 20.15.
perhaps they are showing some more of the undercard?

The whole undercard by the sounds of it. It's a long time and not a particularly inspiring card either.

I think they must be showing the whole undercard as the fights start at 8.

It says 'Live Buildup to Calzaghe v Kessler' on the Sky planner. Between 8.15 and midnight. Then the main broadcast after.

I heard they have five hours to fill before the Calzaghe fight so it's looks unlikely they are going to have the 'full' undercard

The undercard is shite, although a decent amount of time to get the beers in. HBO's schedule is a strange one, 1am - 2am then a half hour break for the Mosley-Cotto countdown, back on at 2:30am.

I hope someone is painting a wall round the back of the stadium so that they can show that instead of the undercard, at least that would be more entertaining.

Well, we had better all hope that broadcasting runs smoothly & there's no dealys. If there is, then I just hope footage doesn't just stop like ut did with Pacquaio-Barrera.

It could also be those crappy HBO preview shows, replayed all the time (like they did for Cotto vs Judah).

Maybe it'll be 5 hrs of Buncey and Richie chit-chat (entertaining in itself, but I'd rather see a lot of fights)

It says Live Buildup on the schedule so I doubt very much it's going to be a preview show. I am sure Setanta will be getting as much value as they can out of the card and showing fights most of the night.

With a shit undercard like that I miht just tape it and go out.

Barrie Jones' fight starts 40 mins after Enzo's starts. Doesn't look like they're expecting Enzo's to go the full 12.

the setanta broadcasts are usually 3 hrs live..so i expect two undercard bouts.

For non FV it's live. For FV it will be repeated (with no undercard action unless the fight doesn't go 12 rounds) on the Sunday evening. Usually bout 6 or 7.

Setanta watched Man City versus Sunderland and promptly bought the rights to this fight by way of an apology to it's viewers.

And for that Setanta we salute you. But why this wasn't bought up in advance I just have no idea. Maybe they didn't want to get in a bidding war so they bided there time til the last minute then jumped in there and got it for a snip of the price.

King is renowned for charging over the odds for his fights. Rumour has it he wanted $350,000. To put that into context, Sky were offered Barrera v Pacquiao I were $25,000. I know this because my mate is the Commercial Director of Sky Sports (which helps when he has the Sky box next to Roman at Chelsea )

I also think King and JMM didn't want this fight. King has gone to the trouble of having the cruiser belts unified, and along comes a "mental midget" & his fihgter who want to take the belts, vacate and go to heavy...also, maloney will remind king of the lewis days, when king tried every trick in the book to get lewis OR his titles. lot of political stuff going on here, IMO, and graham houston's site says british press aren't being allowed to the fight.

Could they just buy a ticket to get in anyway, and fck King? Anyone know if they're actually gonna do this?
