Wow that is exceptional.

I have followed Frankie's career since he was a 15 yr old junior winning intenational tournaments - the kid is pure class.

For my money he is the best pure boxer on the squad and this is reflected by his performances on the big stage; he is as slick as they come.

He was Amir Khan's main sparring partner in the run up to the last Olympics, it wouldnt surprise me at all to see him match or better Khan's podium position in the Olympics.

How he has managed to keep down to 60kgs I will never know - after Beijing next year I reckon he will fill out to welter in the pro ranks.

Well done Frankie and congratulations as well to his coaches at Hall Green ABC - its a huge achievement for a relatively new club!

I remember Frankie when he was at Small Heath ABC, about the same time I was knocking around there. To see how far he has come is brilliant and he seems to be hitting harder than he did, say, a year ago.

His ‘man strength’ has finally arrived.

Tom Chaney and the boys have done remarkably well at Hall Green. They have another lad, Jacob Grattan, who will be doing big things in a few years time.
