How did he look last nite??? missed the action totally. take it his scheduled fight was called off??/

No he fought last night. He won by stoppage in the 6th. Was only half watching but he looked pretty impressive to me.

Very, very impressive but a bit too over keen going in and leaves himself wide open - He also wants to run before he can walk and needs a lot more experiance before challenging for the British title which he claims he is ready for - He was to have fought for the Celtic title.

Blimey, the lad is certainly full of self-confidence. Boxed liked Odamattey was absolutely no threat at all. Yes, a bit open but he is still a very good prospect, as he has been all along.

Is there a better young Scot out there?

The domestic feathers, super feathers & lightweights are red hot right now. Arthur, Johanesson, Murray, Thaxton, Mitchell, Cook, Gomez, Foster Jr, Matthews, Simpson, Appleby, Khan, Meager...Already there is signs of strong domestic action and there should be hopefully loads more over the years.

Warren did say that he wanted to usher a great era of British boxing by involving some of his guys in fights in these weights. We should all hold him to it. Mitchell-Johanesson gives me big hope because it being involving rival promoters (though i think it was a mandatory fight)...I fancy Carl to break Mitchell down btw. After rewatching Mitchell-Ramogoadi I thought there could be an upset...But Mitchell got nailed loads by Ashie & Carl is compact and hard hitting...Arthur-Foster Jr should be good, though I only think so cos of Foster Jr's move up in weight and recent 1 rd KO win.

Saw him fight in the flesh last dec at York Hall. HIts with a lot of weight and good combos, but gets dragged into hard scraps cos of his style. Could see a smooth operator chinning him. But def one to watch!
