Saw that Kassim Ouma lost a SD to Saul Roman last night, a fighter who was 0-2 KO in his last 2 fights and has lost every time he stepped up.

Haven't seen the fight but it could suggest that Kassim isn't the fighter he was, or maybe it was an off night.

Thinking that it could be ideal to bring him over as an opponent for Pryce, Moore et al has Ouma is rated and ranked in the States and a win woudl gain valuable exposure for these fighters.

What are your thoughts on this?

Ouma has always been vulnerable. I think he is a bit hit and miss

Maybe Ouma-Eastman will happen after all now Ouma has been beaten by a perceived no hoper. Kassim is a tough assignment for most fighters but just short of the top level.

The Ouma that fought Taylor would destroy Pryce and Moore.

Ouma has always been hit and miss, he was absolutely awful vs Karmazin.

I suppose, but Karmazin discouraged him straight away with his class. After the early knockdowns Ouma was out of sorts and fearful of Karmazin's straighter, sharper shots.

A decent performance here and there but he is very beatable. I think his unhinged nature discouraged Taylor. Ouma is crazier than a shithouse rat.

I think he can be forgiven for his decadence following a childhood spent as an enforced child soldier in Uganda.

He is as crazy as a 5hithouse rat but is a product of his own vida loco!

Is he from Uganda so therefore eligible for the Commonwealth title?

the national newspaper from uganda thought ouma may be rusty for this fight and IMO that had something to do with it!! :(

roman is really not that bad of a fighter either...has a stoppage over ex-world title challenger hugo pineda and TWO convincing wins over tough spoiler christian solano---the guy who destroyed john o'donnell's unbeaten streak on the floyd-oscar undercard!!

surely roman's recent KO loss to a 7-12 guy was an aberration and his only other loss since 1/03 was to world-class argie sergio martinez---clearly NO SHAME in that!!

Fair points but he still got beat everytime he stepped up, like you said no shame in getting beat by people like Martinez or Rubio for that matter.

Ring rust or not he still got beat and is now 0-2 in his last two fights, if Pryce and Moore after he hopefully wins the Euro title are serious about their world ambitions then this is a fight they should seriously look at then we can see if it was ring rust and also how could these guys will be on the world stage.

The post was probably a bit selfish as Emerson did say it on the way to Cardiff but it got me thinking of how good it would be to see a Moore or Pryce vs. Omua fight in Britian as I've always enjoyed Moore, Omua and lately Pryce's fights so would be glad to pay to watch this.
