should david haye, just for the sake of british boxing, drop down to cruiser for one more fight, a big moneyspinner with enzo maccarinelli, in london cos haye is now the boss man so deserves home advantage, on a huge maloney promotion.

Haye has proved he's the man at Cruiser while bar Braithwaite Enzo has been content to talk the talk but not walk the walk. I'll never forgive him for the Bobby Gunn fiasco and his latest fight was a joke as well, especially when he had a better opponent clearly willing to face him.
Haye is clearly murdering himself to make Cruiser and shouldn't be risking his body and health any more. He's done what he wanted to do and now he needs to get in with the big boys and start mixing it up!

Haye has killed himself for a while now to make the weight, and has made no secret that the Mormeck fight would be his last at the weight. Basically, he has nothing else to prove at cruiser. He's gone to the home of the recognised number one of the division and KO'd him, taken the belts and is now ready to move up. He doesn't owe anybody anything.

NO. Otherwise you're bending over backwards to give Sports Network all the advantages. Macca's not worthy and when Haye sees the Setanta video you'd think he won't be very happy.

I want to see Haye back on Sky. With non-SN hijacked studio pundits and with Maloney in control of the promotion. Fight a novetly fight like Roman Greenberg or a moving up O'Neil Bell. Then take on a hard headed, durable, light hitting heavy. Have some fights in the States, have some at home.

Macca needs Haye for real respect (and to headline a show of his own). Haye has the marketability and the credentials right now. He can do what he wants as he readies for the heavyweight attack.

I would love to see it, but paring his body down to CW is killing Haye & I don't think he'd fancy doing it & going up against a puncher like Enzo.

Yes, British boxing needs fights like this BUT Enzo should do it on Hayes terms. Haye may or maynot do wonderfully at HW, if he doesn't he can at least have had a great British fight at Cruser for all the marbles

Haye stated last night that if the fight against Enzo happens, it has to be up @ heavy, or it doesn't happen. Whilst I appreciate Enzo uis not a natural HW at the moment, it may happen in time.

I, like the rest of you, want the fight to happen, but I don't wan't to see a guy deplete himself to make 200lbs, only to lose a fight because of such weight-making difficulties. It's not about that!

Anyway, I really think it's academic what we think or would like. Haye has made his decision & I hope he sticks to it!

but how? and im certainly not implying anything on the 'juice' front, im just saying that, the human body does not continue to grow with men in their 20's, unless there is a pituitary problem or a hormonal one. the human man will increase weight as they get deep into their 30's as the metabolism starts to slow down !

is it hayes training regime, weights etc, that is causing the weight increase, and is so why? because if you are struggling to make the weight then you should not pump iron, simple as. calzaghe struggles big time to make weight, he does not use weight training at all as part of his training regime.

so why is haye struggling to make the weight? why and how has he bulked up?

Haye is at a disadvantage. Macca should fight at a catch weight of 210 (appreciate Haye is still going to have to lose 20lbs, but it's a better option).

I don't buy the Macca excuse that he's not able to ooperate well above 200lbs
