I don't think I have ever seen this bloke but he is the Australian middleweight title holder and is fighting Peter Mitrevski Jnr next. Has anyone seen him? Is he any good?

I saw him fight Damien Smith at Blacktown RSL in 2006. He's stylish & always in good shape. Not a real big puncher. I think Elias Nasser who manages Vic Darchinyan also has junior. If Mitreski is in shape it will be a good match up.

That's the same night Lenny Zappa kills,er, sorry, "fights" Ariel Omongos in Brisbane. Wonder if either program will be televised?

god forbid, talipeau vs peter wont be very entertaning, and as 4 zappa and omongos it could rate as one of the biggest mismatches ever.it wont b long till one of our little philly friends get really hurt, then i wonder who will wear the blame 4 these mismatches. :( :( :(

I live in the same part of Sydney that both Zappavigna and Omongos train and live in. One of the local papers wrote a story about it as if Ariel had more than the chance of a fart in a cyclone.

God help us all.

Mitrevski has held a few regional titles. He might be too experienced for Junior.

Unfortunately the Australian Middleweight does not mean as much now as when Les Darcy, Ron Richards, Tom Uren, Dave Sands or Tony Mundine held it.

Talipeau had a good win over Mitrevski Jnr. The scores were close did anyone see the fight?

Whats next for Talipeau? Is there a chance he could fight Pittman any time soon? I see Pittman just beat the tough Seran who almost beat Robbie Bryant and Talipeau also has a win over (although the scores weren't quite as convincing)...

Split decision Talipau -Seran at the end of June this year & a complete shut out Pittman -Seran last night. Junior is improving but you'd have to favour Pittman if they were to meet now. Talk of Talipau v Crampton and that would be a good match up.
