Who would have won a fight between Tommy Morrison and Michael Moorer if they had fought back in 1995?

Who would win a fight between them if they somehow fought this year or next year?

Im picking Moorer by mid fight TKO. He has the skill and power
to handle Morrison, who as he often does looks good at times
and manages to land.

Im thinking Moorer TKO 5 Morrison.

Meh...I'll go with Morrison, considering by the end of his career he had shown he wasn't as glassed jawed a fighter as people propsed*, and was improving, while Moorer on the other hand went down hill after the Foreman fight.

I think Morrison goes down, but so does Moorer; it be like the Morrison-Ruddock fight, but end somewhere in the 10th round by a TKO, a Morrison victory.


*Foreman didn't drop him, and while Lewis did, Morrison got up as quick as he went down, which showed me it wasn't that Lewis was hurting him, so much as it was the cut over his eye and the swelling that impaired his vision and made him get caught with punches he couldn't see. Plus, throw in the fact he suffered a broken jaw against Joe Hipp and still kncoked Hipp out and did interviews afterward; and Ruddock, though coming back from retirement, wasn't able to knock Morrison out either. Some will say the Bentt fight completely disrupts this, but, I think Morrison's problem was more that he didn't take Bentt seriously and didn't train and simply got caught by a fighter who was dead serious on proving himself.

The Foreman fight was a beautiful example of Morrison using a smart and well executed game plan. It showed he was a disciplined fighter.

I just think that Moorer had enough to stop Morrison. I think his fast southpaw jab would open up alot of oppurtunities on Morrison's stance which was often wide, and whose head movement would steady after the first few rounds.

I think Morrison does land some telling shots and makes it one nice fight. BUT I really think Moorer with Atlas yelling at him gets the job doen.

What? Walking away? That wasn't boxing that night, that was running, although fair play to Morrison for picking up the W anyway. Bentt blitzed him, Duke wasnt expecting a fight that night.

Michael Moorer comes off the floor to overwhelme Morrison. Joe Hipp showed just how much trouble a southpaw can give Tommy, and Hipp was no Moorer!

He avoided the one chance that Foreman had at winning. Denying big George the range, and the spots to let go of his bombs.

He did enough to win, sure he didnt stand and fight. BUT he seemed to have been aware of his own weakness and how they played into Foremans strength.

He threw what he needed, retreated and kept this up.

Boring sure. But thats Boxing at times.
