I heard he was on the floor again last night.....
I have spoken to some of his russian amateur team mates in the past and they mentioned his chin not being the best.

Gotta be good news for Froch, who despite some flaws of his own, hits very hard.

Carl Froch will KO Denis Inkin, there's very little doubt in my mind.

I must pull my finger out and convert the VHS tape of this amateur fight between them.

I know Froch was boxing to orders by some england squad coach / taxi driver and looks nothing like he does now (gloves high up for a start!)

Inkin is a handful though and pushin Froch back... but the 4th round Carl goes back to his own style and starts banging back and drops him at the end.

I think it was David Haye that filmed it? unless thats another fight.. they shared rooms on england duty.

I think Froch is gonna have him out of there and i know he starts back in the gym next week despite the fight being some few months away.

Carl will raise his game big time for this fight and i expect Inkin to get get smashed to pieces.

I like Inkin's style a lot. It will give Froch problems. But Froch will unleash something and knock him out, IMO. Hope to hell this fight won't be in Germany. Can Hennessey beat Universum in purse bids? Can anyone?

Hennessey won purse bids against them when Witter fought Kotelnik but a WBC eliminators bigger than an EBU defence.

All depends on how much stock Universum put into Inkin. I'd say they'd value him more than Kotelnik, but less than Brahmer. I'll have to keep track of Brahmer, as he's due a WBO shot.

Universum have deep pockets and they are looking to get Brahmer a belt and Inkin a belt before making a mega fight between them...

Gomez, I agree with what you're saying.

Apart from the megafight between Brahmer and Inkin. If both managed to win belts, Universum would likely keep them apart so they can remain champion as long as they can.

If Inkin won a title, and Brahmer lost a title fight/title elim, Brahmer would get a shot at Inkin though...

Hope the Froch-Inkin doesn't end up in Germany. Close fight will go to Inkin regardless of who deserves it.

Never seen the fuss with Inkin, personally. He's alright - but I don't think he near as good as Bute.

If Inkins got a suspect chin hes fecked when he faces Our Carl, whether its in Germany or over here

I think he's a better aggressive fighter than Bute, but hasn't been developed as well. Bute was given the fights to get him a title. But it seems Universum have allowed Inkin to stagnate while close to title shots. Now he's about 30 and hasn't had sufficient development.

Of the top world names Inkin is for me the most beatable but a real test for Froch nontheless - Inkin has aggression, determination and belief he can win - They have both come a long way since they were amateurs so their previous fight shouldnt give either any advantage or us much insight - A close fight on points in Germany would definately favour Inkin so the KO would be vital if it takes place there.

Yeah he doesn't want to mess with Kessler just yet, he's best of taking aim at Inkin for the time being.

Inkin really does seem vunerable, and any German hope of a unification between Inkin and Brahmer might be a house of cards.

Still a dangerous fight for Carl, more so if it's away from home. Brahmer looks the more dangerous, he might have lost his peak years in the slammer, but he's a tough b****** with a heavy punch.

To be honnest I would go for fighting Inkin first just a shame its going to be for a vacant title and not an eliminator vs Kesslar

If Froch was an ELITE fighter, as opposed to good fighter, he would be up there by now, IMO. He is idling along to pick up after Calzaghe goes, and IMO will avoid Kessler if he can grab a belt along the way

Hes just said in Boxing Monthly that he wants Kessler, Froch won't duck anyone IMO. I'm sure there paths will cross in the not too distant
