Weren't you 110% confident last time? For my money, Pavlik does him again.

Its a tough call. Taylor was outboxing Pavlik for the first 6 or so rounds, but he seemed to gas after he put a spurt on to get Kelly put of there.

JT may win a points decision if he can keep out of the way, but if I had to pick between the 2 then I'd go for Pavlik by late stoppage

If Taylor can come back from such a crushing loss he will have proved his worth as a fighter.

Its true that he was dominating for large parts of the first encounter and almost had Pavlik out of there early on but will he be haunted by the KO defeat?

Palik again, Taylor's a boxer, not a fighter and doesn't have the heart or will to mix it with Pavlik.

I don't think Taylor will win. I think Kelly takes him out earlier next time. Jermain's in it for the money and the biggest payday he can get now is the re-match. Looks like he's even cutting down on the trainer's fees by getting rid of Steward. I think it's one last big payday and then out. I don't think he's ever been in love with the sport.

A lot of it will come down to the weight issue again - Taylor was very tight at middle and Pavlik claims to have been as well. We may see that both are a little bit better for the extra 4lb and that a different type of fight takes place. I see Taylor looking to go to the trenches early to prove that he can, and take it from there - possibly Pavlik KO iin the later rounds?

Taylor will win this time, dissapointed with Pavlik last time - I was really confident he would win well prior to the first match - not a come from behind jobby.

I went for Taylor last time but think Pavlik will do him again. Taylor knows Pavlik can stop him and I think that mentally that makes it a tough fight. Whereas before he will have been boxing to win and prove himself, this time he will be concsious of HAVING to keep Pavlik off him because he knows what will happen if he doesn't.

At some point Pavlik will catch up with him again.

Same result but a different sort of fight - Pavlik all the way with Taylor trailing behind.

I think the weight will benefit both fighters, but possibly more for Taylor.

I dunno why, but my gut says a Taylor win by KO in 6. I can just see this as going to a (very good) trilogy.

I don't think it will go well for Taylor. IMO some ppl are putting too much stock into his speed. Yes Taylor was winning, and nearly decapitated Pavlik. There may be too much emphasis on what Taylor didn't do.

Maybe Taylor will finish him this time. But the feeling is that he needs to get him out of there, because he'll run out of gas and get flattened again in the 2nd 1/2.

I feel that Pavlik won't leave himself open in the silly way he did in rd 2 of the last fight. If Pavlik has his head on, he won't give Taylor that chance. Pavlik was outjabbing Taylor in the 1st rd of that fight, won another round (the 3rd) and was coming on in the 7th which he was well in control of.

Not sure that Taylor will be so much better at 166 making the difference. Surely Pavlik will be stronger at the bigger weight, too.

Oh please. Modern fighters dont come back and beat they guy that beat them. They come back and get beat again-- see Mosley/Forrest I & II.

Taylor is not great and Pavlik knows he can stretch him. Pavlik will win again, no doubts whatsoever.
