OK, this isnt a thread to give Spud a heart attack, its a serious topic!!

Recently things have gone really downhill for FA, Hatton didnt let them in on the PBF deal, Francis jumped ship and McCullough-Martinz isnt on TV!!!!!

All thats going for them is Clinton Woods, a man who has always been one of my faves, even back before Crawford Ashley.

But what happens when he loses? He isnt young so one thinks retiremnt could be an option...

What does the future hold for Fight Academy???

Yes, it is a concern - looking from the outside.

They have "lost" Dean Francis a few days after claiming his signature, alledgedly.

Also - Warren has said he is in talks with Woods regarding a "Super Fight" with Joe.

Their Setanta deal seems to be blown away (otherwise, surely this Ireland bill will be on it) - cannot help think that a decision had to be made between SN and FA for the exclusivity deal.

ye,s that is a worry, isn't it? looks like another Warren Monopoly. Sports Network has definitely been responsible for the content on the studio stuff. Not healthy, IMO.

With his best buddy Trevor East in charge at Setanta I think it's safe to assume Frank is well on his way to another exclusive deal. Franks hand will be even stronger following the impressive number of subscribers Setanta are said to have got on the week leading up to Calzaghe and Kessler.

An exclusive deal would not be good at all. If they stop showing the big US fights and only serve up the likes of AAA-Foster Jr. and Mac v TBA, I'll cancel my subscription.

I would do that in a flash, also. No more Warren tossoffs should be allowed. He done it at Sky, then ITV. Setanta should be-bloody-ware. Non boxing fans that I know just turn over the channel and see FW as a promoter of non-fights in which their bully boys beat up the tune up/low rent visitor, etc, back in the ITV days.

Yep, Calzaghe aside, it's the US stuff which makes Setanta worth subscribing too.

Why is Hatton no longer with them? Didn't they pay him "Record purses" and "promote him better than anyone else?" Weren't the Hattons "Salt of the earth people" who will "remain friends for life, no matter what?"

Will they exchange Xmas cards this year or simply writs?

So what has happened indeed? No TV, No Hatton, No fighters (Other than the part-time, Clinton Woods) and now only 'Big' Audley to bargain with.

I wonder whether FA be in Vegas next week with the "Salt of the earth" Hatton clan?

I wonder, will they be exchanging Christmas cards or Writs this year?

FA just need a bigger stable for more dates. Saturday main event will be good while it lasts, shame it isn't live.

Warren has proven himself to be the long standing top promoter in the UK, but that doesn't always mean he puts on value for money shows.

He's always the one to have the last laugh though, so far....

Dont they cost millions? I have to admit, boxing promoters must have some big money putting on these shows but to be able to buy football teawms is something else!

I heard there were several promoters looking at Hatton, but the margin for making any money in relation to the amount of work was not worth it whatsoever.

Then FA signed up.
