Absolutely gutted!
Just heard from a good source.
Jamie has injured his arm apparently and his long awaited big fight is off.
What is going to be the top of the bill for the british leg of hatton night now?
According to someone (thats been offered a fight but isn't medically fit) they talking about good money for someone to step in at such short notice. They need a decent name that people know.

Wanted local lad to fight for light middle European belt...

I wonder if Michael Jennings fancies stepping up? That's if Bradley doesn't fancy it!

Sorry politics might hamper of course.

What light middles are currently around and ready to step in? Alexander broke his ankle or he would jump at the chance i reckon.

He holds the WBU title.

OK finding someone to top the bill is a bit of a crisis and very important but what about poor old Jamie - Never mind us as fans being gutted Jamie has waited long enough for this chance and for now its slipped away from him - Sorry Jamie, really bad luck. Waylon

Ryan Rhodes? He used to be champion years ago! What a comeback that would be.
If he's already fighting tho, how could he box at wigan?

I've heard the same rumour.
So why not put on a British LM title fight - assuming Jamie will step aside.
Rhodes will step up to the plate - will any Maloney fighter do the same and fight him ?
Come on Frank - you know it makes sense. Let's keep the show rolling.

Think about it BMC !
The fight on the 5th would be cancelled - period.

Who has Maloney got at LM who could feature in a British Title fight ?

Do you think we'll now get to see Elcock's fight on sky along with some of the wigan bill if they dont find a good replacement fight?
It's ppv so you would think the show has to feature some names wouldn't you? Jamie Moore's fight was a great appetite whetter for the Hatton fight.

Let's get this straight.
If Frank doesn't pull something out of the bag he is truly in the shit with Sky.
The bill has to happen, and there has to be a headliner - and that will / should be for the British LM title.
Rhodes is ready - make the call Frank.

Zab Judah is a light middle now !

Matko,
My info is the pressure from Sky is well and truly on.
They asked for 3 title fights and they want 3 title fights.
Come on Frank - make the call.

Good fight.
But no way a bill topper for a ppv event as part of a double leg.
PPv is a huge deal in my eyes.
