Article in Sydney Morning herald, Saturday, 1 December 2007.
"Tom Laming's Golden Gloves Gymnasium stood at 49 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, from 1947 to 1988. Laming had connections with the boxers Dave Sands and Tony Mundine, among others. A pair of golden gloves used to be set into the pavement as a heritage marker. To re-commemorate the site and honour Laming and indigenous boxers, a new feature is proposed.
