Who after Mayweather ??

We all know deep down that Ricky's going 2 win this fight. Its really quite simple --FM can't punch (he didn't KO a super featherweight or lightweight), FM's hands are fucked, and FM wears pillows for gloves. Ricky is an immovable object, a naturally thick set and naturally hard as nails
If you cant see that this is Ricky's fight to lose then your being silly. If Kostya Tzu couldn't stop him coming like a choo-choo train, who can ?? In the 2nd half of the fight, Ricky's strength and fitness will really tell as he ups the intensity further and gets even more physical
People are clutching at straws when saying FM will win every round because he's taller with a longer reach and faster hands. Ricky's hands are just as fast as FM's, if not faster, it's just FMs punches are straighter and the straighter the line the shorter the distance between two points.
Of course if Ricky lays out in FM's range he'll be beat to the punch everytime, just like if he laid out in Tzu's range he'd of been kd'd in a few rounds. The thing is, he wont stop-start his work he'll stick 2 FM and FM's back can only bend so far and his feet can only move so far (ropes) and then Ricky's hands will be the more effectively quicker
He'll use his strength not in power, because he cant afford to keep setting his feet, his strength as in walking through punches !! He'll keep FM backtracking and keep picking holes, and theres nothing FM will be able 2 do about it. Then he'll set his feet more in the 2nd half and FM wont know whats hit him --honestly think he may quit, because he's clearly a weak guy inside
ANYWAY, after Mayweather who next do you reckon ? Cotto? Witter ? If he truly is the best P4P as he'll say after the fight, he shoudn't have a problem taking on dangerous opponents if he really is the best (as he'll say) ?
I reckon they'll try and get a money fight with Dela Hoya personally

Oh,please. There's no way in hell Ricky Hatton wins this fight. Skill wins fights, styles win fights. I don't care what weights he's lifting with Kerry Kayes or what diet Kerry Kayes is giving him,it's BS. Ricky's footspeed in coming forward has looked sluggish since the Tszyu fight,he's falling into attacks like a shot fighter would,no jab,no technique, hooks wider than in his younger yrs,etc etc. Floyd's shots will simply get there first, before Hatton can hold, then he'll spin off and Hatton won't ever be able to set himself right for a proper attack. Floyd won't go near the ropes. Hatton is a fighter from birth, this is clear in the way he shouts with each punch even in shadowboxing,so he's going to have problems keeping his concentration too. As he's moving in again he's being picked to bits,I just can't see it any other way,esp on the evidence of his last four fights. Let's not forget there'll be double impact with Ricky moving into the shots. Floyd is such an advanced mover that i don't know if Ricky will even land one single body blow in the fight. There will be reality checks when it's over with and maybe Hatton will be out the limelight,a rich man no less.

Sorry mate --i'd even go as far as saying no sane person can say FM is winning this one. Its really blatant to me that Ricky is simply too tough and too strong, fit and fast enough with the right body size and attitude, and EVERYTHING is in place for a Hatton win with FM taking him lightly with a disrupted train camp, not being at his best lately and suffering bronchitus a few wks back
Yes FM has wonderful slicks when he's given space, like 170 lb plodder Baldy gave him or 170 lb oldie Hoya, and kept guys honest at lower weights more natural to his size with sting. But there's not a cat in hells chance he's near as strong as Ricky Hatton (especially with the fight at welter), and that strength WILL come into play because there is only so far FM can bend and run. It is blatant to me that Ricky wins this sometime in the 2nd half

I have no clue who will win, but it's going to be fun seeing who's right.

If the shots have zero effect on Hatton, then yes there is a strong possibility he'll win. But I'd probably still tip Floyd to box circles around him for three mins of each round because he is just that good, and apparently has unbelievable stamina. But the shots won't have zero effect, how idiotic is that? Floyd throws his shots from different angles, uppercuts, bodyshots, lead hooks, straight shots, left uppercuts, head to body and body to head combos etc and it's the shots you don't see coming that hurt you/stun you most. With Ricking coming forward non stop, there will inevitably be shots he won't see coming. And when you're being caught by shots for half an hour, from an elite professional boxer, don't tell me there will be no affect. That's nonsense.

Miuna - are you Paul Speak in disguise?
I really cannot see the merit in drawing comparions with Tszyu. The guy was in his mid thirties and had fought only 3 rounds in over two years I think?
Mayweather is an entirely different proposition. He outguns Hatton in almost every department, including handspeed. Hatton's only hope is to muscle his way to a win, but I can honestly see him being picked off constantly over 12 rounds.

I do see Hatton's leverages and fast feet closing the gap, his head sinking into Mayweather's chest, and his punches threading into the smaller gaps. I also see Mayweather's back touching the ropes, and if it does he won't be able to get off them...
Hatton for me. I think a late stoppage during Mayweather's last assault/hurrah, being behind on the cards.

Callazo can;t crack an egg either and he had Hatton hurt with timing and accruacy but he decided to battle Instead of box.

Provided Ricky is not totally anihillated, losing all credibility, I think De La Hoya is pretty much a done deal. Personally, I think Ricky loses on points but with credit. PBF gets a fight against Cotto.

IF he wins, I want him to fight Cotto. Remember thinking when they were both great prospects at light-welter that in 5 years or so it would be the big superfight. Floyd was still at lightwight at that time so I didn't take him into account but I still think it would be massive. Got to get past Floyd first though which I'm not optimistic about at all.

Judging by 'The Black Mamba' versus Tszyu this one could go the distance

Hahaha!
I vote we have a whip-round & try & get Julio Cesar Chavez in Ricky's corner, for just such an eventuality...

You should not make statements like this as you end up looking like an IDIOT. I'm sorry, but it's true. *sigh*
