One fight at a time, eh Ricky? Let's get this weekend out of the way first.

Jesus, Ricky has a helluva tough fight on Sat, let alone without thinking of he may fight afterwards.

Wonder if the chances of Hatton-De La Hoya will be reduced if Ricky loses on saturday?

I'm not so sure Oscar can make 147lbs comfortably at this stage of his career. Oscar is 34, hasn't made Welter limit since 2001, & looked like he was far from the 154lbs limit, let alone 147lbs, when he visited Hatton at the UFC gym recently.

Billy Graham mentioned Hatton DLH back in September, so its no surprise really.

The fix is in.

DLH has been in Hatton's camp giving him advice and providing him with sparring partners and wants to set the live gate record with him.

Expect a draw for Hatton at the LEAST if he is on his feet at the end of the 12.

I do not find it a surprise DLH is being discussed.

I am staggered however personnel from Team Hatton are being "quoted" about it - before they have Saturday out of the way.

Yep there was talk about this way back in June - to be honest I was given the impression it was a more likely fight at the time than Mayweather!!!

Should Hatton pull it off this Saturday, i really hope he and his camp are not foolish enough to then take on De La Hoya....... thats one step to far for the hitman.

De La Hoya is just to big and powerfull. Hatton would struggle to put a dent in him, certainly in the first 6 rounds anyway. If Collazo's punches were hurting Hatton just think of what effect De La Hoya's would have on him.

It would all be over by the 5th round IMO.

hatton's only chance against oscar is getting lucky with a big body punch.

oscar is always red hot against come forward fighters.

For some reason, I'm leaning towards a draw. 20/1 is looking good for a tnner punt.

No surprise this one, just the timing of the announcement that is - DLH too big for Ricky and Rickys style would suit Oscar perfecly - They must think with Rickys speed and DLH likely to fade in the second half they stand a chance - Anyway all thoughts need to be concentrated on Saturday.

Just can't see DLH draining himself to 147.

DLH would be too big, too strong for Ricky. Ricky is a different class to Mayorga but its showed how easy DLH handles come forwrd fighters.

What an occasion though.

De La Hoya knows if Hatton wins against Mayweather then a showdown at Wembly against him would be a massive, massive occassion.

De La Hoya aint no fool, he wants to end his career on the highest note possible and go out in spectacular style. By demoloshing Hatton infront of a packed out electrified Wembly stadium and also infront of millions watching around the world he'd be able to do just that. Technically speaking, he'd be able to retire as the sports current P4P no.1

De La Hoya's a smart guy, but i hope Hatton proves to be smarter and avoids this one like the plague!
