It's not that I'm not getting behind him I just think he's way out of his depth. Did you see his last fight?

I think Chageav's really good, his compact workrate and skills have impressed me. Don't think Skeleton stands much of a chance but then again Changaev's been quite sick recently so he may have got him at a perfect time.

42+ years old no amateur experience and fighting for a decent version of the world title in his 23rd fight, surely its time to give Matt some credit?
He has a style thats proved very difficult to beat and will fight with his heart for the full 3 minutes of all 12 rounds .
A Brit fighting for a heavyweight title we should all be getting behind him

Good luck to Matt but Chagaev's educated southpaw counter punching will see the ex-amateur stalwart's straight left cross send Skelton to the matt somewhere around the half way point.

I think Skelton will get stopped too tbh. Probably not KO'd, but stopped. Wish him all the best mind, but can't see him winning for a second

Let's put it in perspective, we're talking about a guy struggling to look good and perform well at domestic level up against probably the number 2 Heavyweight in the world. Levels!

Yeah but do you really think that was all Skelton has to offer? Skelton played it safe against a guy he had knocked out before. Didn't want to run into the shot that flattened Audley or risk any injury.

The Big Bear isn't going to do just enough to lose like some of boxings prima donnas, he will come to play, mix it up with 'White Tyson' and someones gonna be left standing when the smoke clears!

Matt Skelton is a remarkable man and more importantly before dismissing him a genuine HARD MAN...

Williams is a bigger puncher than Chagaev on what basis? Stopping Tyson? I guess Kevin McBride is a bigger puncher than Chagaev too.

Even if Williams is a bigger puncher then Chagaev can't stop Skelton? We all know there'a s lot more to it than that. Chagaev is an excellent counterpuncher, Sketon will eat plenty of tasty counters as he bulls his way in. I don't see him lasting 12 rounds.

Talking on pure punch power, yes Kevin McBride probably does hit a lot harder than Chagaev. McBride had Golota rocking and i couldn't see Chagaev, after his 24 rds of flurrying over Ruiz & Valuev, doing any 1 punch damage on world stage.

Chagaev stopped Sprott in 8 who essentially just gave in, whilst Williams had iced Sprott twice over the years, both time with 1 punch. Williams iced Meehan with 1 shot, who went 12 with hard hitting Brewster.

Knock Fat Dan all ya like but hes a huge bloke and knows how to swing with might!!

My point is it doesn't mean Chagaev can't stop Skelton just because Williams couldn't. Chagaev is on a different level to our dometic heavies.

Cus D'Amato used to say that a determined boxer wouldn't go down to one punch they saw but if they got hit by a few then they would be KDed by the confusion of trying to react to the punches more than anything. Thats what Changev will do to Skelton all night.

Matt has done well and been lucky to get to this point and I wish him well but I don't rate his chances.

It looks a certain home win but good luck to Matt on this one anyway. Has the venue/date been arranged yet? I am sure Franky will get home advantage as Chagaev is prone to travel.
