Seems like the EBU finally have a buyer for the EU title, as boxrec have this mandated match-up pencilled in for February in Germany.
Not quite sure if Akinwande's still with Sauerland. I'm seeing this as maybe Sauerland will try to force Dimitrenko into a fight with Akinwande, then maybe get a rematch with Platov going. Not sure the world boards would be terribly keen on ranking a 42 year old octopus through. He must be a deluxe stepping stone for somebody in the stable.

What exactly is Akinwande 'doing'? Is he a serious professional anymore? Or just fighting for paydays? He has shown no inclination to invade the US or even UK scene.

I need closure on the Akinwande story. Get beaten definitively then go away.

He's paid well in Germany fighting molasses and up and coming, not dangerous prospects without ever losing his top 30 ranking.

Easy money for a 42 year old. He could stil be doing it at 50.

Akinwande should have way too much for Herelius who lost a bit of ambition on his last showing.

Akinwande would beat Audley easily.

For all his shortcomings, Akinwande is a world class boxer with absolute top drawer experience and knows his way around the ring.

Audley isn't & doesn't.
