I'm sure most, if not all, are aware that it's live on SSN at 10.00pm

Just a opening thread for those around to give their thoughts.....

The HBO website has a live web cast as well I think.

PS, I hope Sky don't censor or cut off the weigh in if it gets a little "blue" like they did with one of the press conferences, it is after the watershed afterall.

Sky are such pussies lol. 22:45 and they still feel the need to cut transmission over slight swearing.

"We've lost the transmission... oh wait, it's back."

 Good call. Absolutely laughable on their part.

That's the psycho hype out the way. Hatton looks well fired up and focused. Just hope the adrenaline doesn't get in the way of the savvy aggressive fight he needs to implement. PBF looked a little taken aback - even though he should have expected the reaction.

Thought Ricky looked absolutely in tip top shape - looks bloody good and ready for the biggest fight of his life.

Small problem - never seen Ricky so fired up and I personally think that is bad news.

Yeah, I reckon Hatton will be like a coiled up spring on fight night. As soon as he hears ding, it'll be like a grey hound out of the gate. Expect a lot of heavy pacing during Michael Buffers ring introduction.

Thought Hatton looked absolutely fantastic. Best shape of his career for the biggest fight of his career. He looked a little pudgy against Collazo but looks ripped to shreds this time around since he had the time to do it right. Wouldn't be worried about him being 2 lbs inside the limit at all.

Floyd just seemed to want to get things over with. Was in great shape naturally, but just seemed to want to get the weights done and get through the mandatory staredown and get out. Instead of doing his usual posing when he got out, he was taking his clothes off right away instead, just getting down to business.

I think if hatton throughs heavy and hurts Mayweather early on it'll be good for him anyway so the adrenalin isn't a bad thing in my view.

Yeah, so long as he can capitalise on it, otherwise it could be a long ol' fight.

Other notable observations - apart from Hatton/PBF - Barerra totally ignoring JMM on the stage and shaking hands with everyone else. Hopkins walking around the stage like he owned it even under the chorus of boos, chants of 'Hopkins is a poofter' and 'there's only one Joe Calzaghe' - whilst JC was shuffling his feet looking uncomfortable and just talking to pal and gymmate Enzo.

I suspected that JC would be out of his element under the BS razzmatazz of Vegas and always felt that's why he never felt the compulsion to go over there a lot earlier in his career.

Barrera would have been slapped by JMM.

JMM is a superb boxer and IMO beat Pacquiao

Just watching the footage online. Hatton is in amazing condition. Perhaps not cutting to 140 might suit him. Ripped to shreds!

He always does the fist pumping thing at weigh ins. He always comes out like a lunatic in the first round (Collazo, Mauser, Castillo and Magee are four that immidiately spring to mind).

The bottom line is that Ricky looked in his best shape ever, really ripped, Floyd also looked in fabulous shape -- especially his six pack which looked like 8 hockey pucks trying to burst out of his abdominal skin -- and Hatton seems to be winning the phychological battle. When floyd tries to bully him, Hatton gives him twice as much back. There's certainly no intimmidation there. On the other hand, when Floyd came in to the weigh in, he looked edgy and bouncy and seriously aggrivated by the Hatton fans. Even when he brought out the kids from his charity to hold his belts, he seemed to do it in a "right, let's get this over and done with" kind of way.

Hatton now needs to stay cool, while fighting like he's on Viking drugs.

Most interesting thing was Hatton looked WAY thicker in the shoulders, abbs and generally more carrying way more muscle. Hattons in great shape, Mayweather's in his usual excellent shape.

I would be worried if Hatton ever came in 2 lbs under light welterweight for any future fights. but 2 lbs under welter must be nothing to him. looks like, as with calzaghe the other month, he's trained for speed.
