A new message board has opened up at secondsout.com.
Look on the left hand side - see the word "boards" - register - come and have a look.
Before anyone asks - no I am not!!!

I am told No!!!
It doesn't look like the normal forum either - myself and Mr Carey have had a couple of points on there made about the style etc etc - in fairness the management team have tried to accommodate some of the changes.

Sniff all you want Rhino.
The management team - I only spoke to 2 of them - the owner of the site is Robert Waterman and the Editor in Chief of the site is Clive Bernath - there is no need for moderators so I am told.
The thing at secondsout is not a forum - it is a message board and there is a massive difference.
You and others can do all the deja vuing you want I personally do not give a toss.
Waterman was good to me in the early years up to recent times - its called loyalty and when it was pointed out to me that the message board was starting at the place where it all started you are dam right I was going to be one of the first there.
Rhino, you and others are boxing fans give the place a try - no one is forcing you - in addition you will see some of my posts concerning the place and in addition Greenburg will not make me too popular there.
Lets see who the boxing fans are

I think part of the reson this forum is better is because its not attached to a news site so its a bit more of a sallect groupe of posters sometimes esspecialy as compaired to the current scene.

Gone are the days of forum wars - this site is bloody excellent and so are the majority of the posters.
The moderators on here have worked their nuts off to make it a success and I am positive it will continue to thrive.
The secondsout.com venture I am told is part of something I cannot get my head round and don't want to to be honest!!!
I am treating it as another place to discuss boxing and for me that is a good thing.

True as someone who periodicaly has a job nothing to do with boxing to do (although not till janurary at the moment hence my volume of posts) I can only realy committ to one forum at a time. So I'll stick with this one.

It's definitely tempting to find a different forum as there are some really undesirable characters in the "Current Scene". It's a shame. :(

I don't think it started there mate. I posted as Diggo on another site - BritishBoxing.com - long before SecondsOut had a forum.....

Remember you - britishboxing.com was about a year before secondsout.com I believe - do you remember the Arnie v Wayne Alexander arguments.

Ok well fcuk off over there so! Since I have been on here I have seen you jumping around numerous sites, but always come whimpering back here so why the need to big up the next big thing? We are all happy here, why the fcuk would any of us want to go posting elsewhere? If it's not broken don't try to fix it. This is the only forum I have vistied that isn't overloaded with sh1t and I'm happy for it to stay that way. Jumping sites to post the same opinion is a waste of fcuking time so why would any of us want to get involved in it?

Even though Im a newbie poster Im a long time reader and I agree with Johnswan.
This is the one bastion of forums that has stood above all others, rarely stooping into the mess.
Lets not ruin it now......

i agree with you fellas, its ridiculous to expect people to suddenly start posting somewhere else, we can all say it here, there is minimal trouble, its well run without bias and i can generally agree when a thread needs to be pulled because of slanderous reasons.
all ill say to you fellas is that all forums spud has been associated with have fallen off the end of the pier and sunk to the bottom of the oggin. shit, there have been so many i cant even list them. personally i had enough of the bias and the crap and the silly pm's.
im happy here.....long live boxrec !!
