oh my god, please don't go to extremes.
He beat a guy who was shot to shit.
I'm just gutted earl didnt get the chance to land his own shots, for the sake of my bet obviously.

Very impressive, very sharp. But Khan's growing maturity and natural speed, coupled with Earl's slide (going through the meat grinder vs Romanov and Katsidis) made this an early night.
Khan has the look of a world class talent, though. This is the kind of performance you expect of a young prodigy.

Can't fault Khan.

I'm just pleased that Amir has given me an extra hour in bed before I get up for the Hatton fight. Night-night lads, see you again in a few hours

Think it says it all when in the post fight interview Earl says he was knocked down twice but the fight shouldn't have been stopped.
Someone needs to stop him fighting. He's really risking his health.
All credit to Amir though. If he can KO opponents like that then his chin won't matter too much

Great Great finish by Khan, and the same thing will happen to Thaxton if they meet.
Earl should retire now.

I cant believe some of you thought earl was gonna win .
Graham has a heart of a lion i've got all the respect in the World for him .
But Khan was always going to be to fast , and it was always going to be over early.

Indeed. Huge respect for Earl though boxing will miss him.

I know Im going to get slagged off for that but I did think that earl seemed clear at the end. Khan was smovering his own work and not causing much damage.
I don't think it was a bad stoppage particularly with it being early in the round however I could have seen it not being stopped at that point aswell. Perhaps if Earl had been tactical and taken a knee.
The left hook with which Khan KDed earl again he did his chin out to dry trick which I thought he had got over.
Still good performance and from the point where Khan's power started to count there was only one winner. I think Thaxton would be a better fight, although I think it may well be murray, wouldn't mind seeing him take on the Mexican fellow though.
Btw well done to Paul Smith did anyone see the fight?

I feel your pain Riddick I had the exact same bet at 11/2, my mates find it hilarious
There is possibly a decent case of that being an early stoppage, but I think it onl saved Earl from more punishment. Khan was relaxed and awesome

I think you're going to an extreme there by saying Earl was "shot to shit". You can't have thought that before the fight as you placed a bet on him! Therefore, you're calling him shot because Amir Khan beat him quickly and with style.

going on the limond fight it wasn't such a shocking pick.
i favoured khan to win.
but didn't completely rule out earl's chances.

I think most of us had a worry that Earl might be shot - You guys have to make your own conclusions as to whether that is the case or not.
I know what my thoughts are ;)

I would advise all young prospects to avoid Amir 'Big Fight Live' Khan, because they're fighting Khan, the referee and three judges. I believe Earl deserved a standing eight at the time of the stoppage.
The result would have no doubt been the same, but without that bitter aftertaste of ITV/Allegedly. I still don't see a future for Khan. He'll surely have to move to LW eventually, and America precludes his sponsorship advantages.

Silly comment to make though, he needs to sort out his guard irrespective of his power.
