Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about when Haye plans to next be in the ring, its been a month since his title win and since then we have been greeted by deathly silence, just wondering if anyone has heard anything about what kind of timescale his next fight is and won against.

Didnt you watch the Hatton fight he was in the studio for Sky Box Office with Johhn Nelson and Nicky Piper, hes defending his belts at Cruiser first then moving to Heavy

I didn't hear that bit, i thought the move to Heavy was imminent. Defending his Cruiser belts against whom? Has to be Macca.

Not got sky in this house so no I didn't thats interesting news if he is staying at Cruzer given that he has said he doesn't feel much more than 60% at cruzer shows real guts if he does fight Macca

he was on talk sport today, he plans to fight again in march, but he did not say at which weight.

when boxers move up in weight division they continue to say they are fighting at the weights they hold belts in because it can still be used as a bargaining tool

why would he fight at cruiser again if it's killing him so much?

If Enzo Maccarinelli REALLY wants the fight, Haye vs. Maccarinelli at cruiserweight for the WBC and WBA titles. If not...something else.

WBC has given 12 months to defend the belt before they vacate him.

If Haye were to want the eurapean title at Heavy would he have to vacate the cruzer world title to be eligable to challenge?

Perhaps Haye is enjoying the feeling of being champion and wants to prolong it.

He went through hell to make cruiser, but he knows he CAN do it, and maybe feels the reward is worth it.

It's like a hangover after a great night out. While you're suffering you think "never again", but when the pain recedes, you don't remember the hangover, you remember the night out, and before you know it, you're doing it again.

This is dangerous, he need to get the fvck out of cruiser, fvck macarinelli there is no worth in fighting him! get to heavy and starch vidoz or someone!

i agree, until he gets stripped he can be introduced as THE crusierweight champion of the world, which looks good

doubt he messes himself up training again when he can do pretty much what he wants...

60% of Haye would still probably beat Macca....

60% of Haye is roughly how much of his optimum weight he would be to make the fight.

And on the subject I could see Maccarinelli winning, not Haye. Haye switches off too easily for me.........how many people thought he'd win after 3 rounds against Mormeck......not many.

Macca's a bit 1 paced even though comfortable fighting at cruiser.

There was a window for it to happen but let's not all forget, Haye starched Bonin and got up to batter Mormeck instead. These were both fights where we didn't know what was going to happen and we effing well got value for money. Going further back, there have been the quiet showings but there was also the starching of Gurov and he survived the crisis to beat Fragomeni.

Whereas we've not had value for money with Macca much - aside from Braithwaite & Hobson 1. Hobson 2 was a borderline foul/or he just caught the guy cold, Azzaoui kept turning his back and invited a back/kidney punch before quitting, Gunn was a human punch bag crossed over with a tomato can.

Bigger things for Haye. Lots of "small heavyweights" who can make some noise, Povetkin, Chambers, Chagaev, Ibragimov, so the task of winning a title isn't so daunting for Haye, who may have come up at just the right time.
