Hearns vs PBF Who wins?

Prime Hearns vs PBF. Remember that Hearns chin wasn't the best when hit with great shots. Also, PBF hasn't ever fought a tall opponent that can use it the way Hearns did. Corrales preferred inside fighting more.

At WW, Mayweather would stick and move alot and avoid alot of shots from Hearns, but eventually Hearns reach and power would end the fight when he'd catch PBF coming in. Hearns by KO in about 7.

Floyd has enough power to KO Hearns, and the means to do it.

This one is a really really tough call.

That sounds about right. Hearns chin wasn't actually that bad, and despite his stoppage of the JWW Hatton, FMJ doesn't pack enough punch to earn Hearns respect.

Hearns is a much bigger man than PBF, and size matters in boxing. I reckon this would decide the fight.

Huh??

Hearns got hurt/stopped by Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Iran Barkely. A big hitting Welter and middleweights!!

Hearns would laugh at Floyd's shots. Floyd does not have the power to knock out Hearns WHATSOEVER.

Hearns by brutal knockout around the 7th.

It's a mis-match. It's like putting Winky Wright in with Evander Holyfield.

And don't forget that along with his long reach, the Hitman also had very fast hands.

Dempseyfire, Ringsider and myself agree on a subject. I just phoned Hell and they said an Ice Storm suddenly broke out.

At WW.....Hearn's could do in PBF any way he wanted. He could out box him (like he was SRL for 13 rounds)....or more likely he KO's PBF inside of 8 via the Hitman role....

Hearn's chin was more than enough to withstand PBF's shots. Understand if SRL Vs Hearns (I) was the 12 round fights of today....Hearn's wins that fight going away....

Hearns would beat most of short undersized defensive welterweights.

This is about right. Hearns brutalises the guy

Hearns would start by outboxing him and utilising his reach advantage. Then as Floyd has to take more and more risks to get into the fight Hearns starts chopping him up and finishes him between 8 and 10.

Hard match up for Floyd.

this fight is a welterweight version of Hearns vs Benitez of the 154 pound fight. Hearns by decision. Floyd is NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH TO GO INSIDE HEARNS REACH AND WILL FIGHT A CAUTIOUS FIGHT FOR 15 ROUNDS.

If the fight is at 154, forget it...Hearns would blast PBF just like he did to Duran in 5 or 7 rounds.
