Talksport should rename themselves Talkfootball (Sky Sports News may wish to follow suit). They know sweet fukchole about boxing and should leave it well alone.

Just to clarify - my ire is directed at Alan Brazil, not Glyn Leach. Should be obvious, but anyway...

i was listening to the station when brazil spoke that shite too....i love the radio station and its kept me company on the way to work for many years now but that particular instance it really was a howler, but i could not be arsed to phone them up.

last time i phoned i spoke to micky quinn, i was explaining the fact that i thought witter stood a chance against hatton and due to his lack of knowledge mr quinn pulled the plug on me......fat geordie twat !!!!!

Their post Mayweather - Hatton fight phone in was laughable.

The main gist of the callers was shock & awe at how good Flyd Mayweather was.

They expected that all Ricky needed to do was bang Floyd to the body & Floyd would fall down in 6 & Ricky would be champ, just because a clueless presenter on Talkfootball said as much before the fight.

Same with Sky Sports News(although they did get Lloyd Honeyghan on, pimped to the max in the build up to Hatton/Mayweather)

last time i listened to talksport 4 years ago it was woeful and i understand even those standards have plunged

yes there are one or two decent discussion shows on there although as with all these presenters they often rile the hell out of you and I think it's just to keep you interested.
