If you have High Def watch the HD channel - it is amazing. Check out the contrasting reaction of the two round card girls when Hatton gets knocked down.

The BBC look to be showing an increased interest in boxing, which can only be a good thing. I only hope they don't latch on to another Audley or lower level promoter!

Even if they show delayed taping, it's a start.

Plus it gets the average licence payer interested in the sport (possibly).

Nobody give away any spoilers, I want to watch it as live.

I believe the senior BBC executive who resigned a few weeks back in the fall out over the documentary about the Royal family (the one where they chnaged the running order of the video to make it look like the Queen was throwing a wobbler) was massively opposed to boxing and largely responsible for its demise on BBC (apart from Audley that is!)

By contrast I understand that his successor is a big boxing fan - or at least realises the appeal that it has to the general public. Calzaghe's win in BBC Sports Personality can only confirm that appeal, so hopefully we'll see an increasing amount of fights on BBC.
