What does everyone think?
What about Raymond Joval? I went to see the Shannon Taylor fight and thought Taylor went well (especially early)
I think Daniel is better that the 05 S.T.

Joval would be a great choice and we know he will come to Australia.
Someone like Wayne Elcock could also be good however he did just lose to Abraham...
What are the chances he would fight Pittman???

Taylor wants the fight! I think Pittman would be the harder fight. I'd rather see him fight the best middleweights in Aus Before going overseas. Pittman, Soliman, Taylor maybe even Mundine he said that he wanted to fight at middleweight a while back.

Mundine is a lot bigger than Geale.
Taylor is now puss.
Soliman is too experienced for Geale.
Pittman seems the logical choice if you want an Aussie v Aussie match up... Would Pittman take it?

If the IBO claim to be a real organisation, rather than just part of the alphabet gang, Geale should be prepared to fight any middleweight.

how about sergio mora
his ranked, undefeated and a fairly big name due to the contender
if he wants to fight in america
but locally would like to see geale v pittman
geale was very impressive last night stuck to his fight plan well and proved a class above dawson

Geale has done well. He was the welterweight gold medallist at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and is so far undefeated as a pro. How far he goes is really down to how hard he is prepared to work. He does not lack heart or ability.

Do you think Dawson would be a far more sucessful Junior Middle?

Pitman hasnt proved shit in his career, It would be a backward step after Dawson. Soliman is the logical fight as he is more experienced but on the decline and is there for the taking.
If Geale could beat Soliman then he will get a name overseas and big fights if he is managed right.

Interesting to note that the "Boxrec" ratings have moved Geale to number 6, putting him 1 place in front of Joval, who previously held the IBO title.
Geale also got a good write up in "Doghouse Boxing."

I tend to agree with you about Pittman but it is a decent undefeated Aussie name so it would still be better than fighting scrubs.
Soliman would still have too much for Geale at this point and I doubt either of them would take the fight...

I think Pittman Vs Geale would be a cracker of a fight. I was following Dawson yet Geale won this fight well and he has my respect.
Fights such as Dawson & Geale has me wanting more (of the same) I hope to see some matchups like this in the future.

I'm sure Geale & Pittman have met in the amatures!!! Not 100% sure who won but I think it was Geal at Welterweight.
There is not enough money in it for these guys to fight each other at this stage (not enough main stream exposure) but I think it should happen. Maybe it could happen on a PPV Mundine card, could bring back some credibility. If Mundine is good for Australian Boxing here is an opportunity to put on a great fight between two Aborinal fighters. Who knows maybe he could give the winner a crack at his so called world title.
I pick Pittman at middleweight he is to big.

Taylor seemed to get more title shots than his record deserved. Soliman beat Joval in a non-title fight after losing a title fight to him. Either Sam improved a lot or Joval was on the slide, and that was before Taylor got a shot at Joval.

I think Joval would be a great matchup, and I would pick Geale to win. I would also pick Geale to beat Shannon Taylor and Pittman, and would be 50:50 against Soliman.

Put it this way, Fish, Boxrec puts IBO titles in the square with the real titles rather than the minor titles.

It took you this long to notice that?
