What does the future hold for Paul Briggs? Danny Green has now leaped- frogged him as the country's best light heavy. How does Paul move forward?

First and foremost he needs to fight! It is almost a year since his last bout...

Its was quite a dismal display for someone who has turned on some high impact performances like Paul Briggs.
Id say if he is going to fight again it'l be one or 2 warm ups and then an all or nothing battle with Danny Green in Perth or Sydney.. Green is 34 and Briggs is 32 so id say they are both thinking about the money

It's been talked about alot, and makes more sense than another bout against Mundine. I don't think Mundine would come up to Light Heavy anyway, and Danny can't make super middle. So that only leave a catch-weight fight, which can't be for a title.
At least with Briggs it would be for big bucks and mean something.

mundine makes more sense if he fights briggs he will be LUCKY to pocket 200 or 300 k if he fights mundine he will get at least 3m and mundine has already said he will step up to whip danny green AGAIN

Somebody should tell young Anthony that one summer does not make a spring. Anthony's father Tony had a gym mate named Paul Moore who had a win over Rocky Mattioli at welterweight. Mattioli went on to be WBc World Junior Middleweight Champion. Moore never went anywhere near that high.

Boxing is littered with winners of fights who lost re-matches.

According to Briggs' website, he was ill earlier this year. It has been diagnosed as a collapse of his adrenal system. It is not incurable. He is being treated for this and his prognosis is good. He is back in training and hopes to fight in the new year.

Can you honestly see a re-match ending differently than the first fight?

Different fight, different weight division, who knows? Back in the 1930s Ron Richards and Fred Hennebery fought each other 10 times, with a final score of 6-3-1 Richards (Hennebery was disqualified at least twice). This could be another rivalry like that.
