Found in current scene, Eubank lays out blueprint to beat FM

Found this in the current scene:
CHRIS EUBANK was on Eye 103.8 radio in DUbai on the boxing show and said Floyd is arguably the best P4P fighter since Roy Jones Junior but he cant retire for a while because he needs to show he can take punches and losses
He said "He's got crafty footwork and uses his elbows and forearms cleverly, and he has that gift of fluidity and a very unorthodox defense. Mayweather doesn't have a vast offensive arsenal - jab to the head, lead left hook, check left hook, lead right hand, jab to the belly, and sometimes, very rarely, a right uppercut... most of which are single. He'll sometimes throw the lead right hand and follow up with the left hook but that's about it."
Eubank said to beat him you need to "Jab him and fight him strategically" --he was asked about strategically and said step in with the jab and step over after the jab, land the right hand by feinting the jab and land the left hook by feinting the right hand
He said where there's a will there's a way to beat anyone, and said millions would have bet their mortgage in 1990 on Nigel Benn to beat him if they knew he was going to fight him in half-guard and not full-guard
It may be too late though, he might not box again.

I did see this in the current scene, and to be honest, its easier said than done, im sure if they could, he does make a valid point does Eubank, but you need incredible fitness, defence and timing, and then you have to put it to practise.
I will say this Id love to have seen how Mayweather would have handled a prime Vernon Forrest, as i feel he may have had the tools to have given him hell.

in seriousness, i remember eubank and lennox were interviewed together on a show and lewis bowed down to eubanks knowledge and advice saying that after a fight chris always called him and told him what he did wrong and gave him tips, you can see lewis do a few eubank poses and moves in some fights as a result of their discussions.

Easier said than done, Mayweather counters the jab with a right, he counters the right with left hooks.
The jab is the key to doing well against Mayweather though no doubt, Delahoya and Castillo had success from the jab.

How you beat Mayweather I cant say but obviously the jab is vitally important - Its the first basic move in boxing, and working off your jab is the fundemental method of learning the art of boxing.

Eubank can plot Mayweather's downfall yet couldn't beat Steve Scuffler Collins.

Not only that but the jab neutralises speed because it is the fastest punch to land. Relentlessness quality, stamina, good speed and tight defense will give mayweather problems
Williams if he can reach the next level could be the man to pull this off with his huge 82inch reach and 6'0 of height
No way Mayweather bothers with the low profile high danger Williams, just like he didnt bother with Witter/Harris/Margarito - he may have beaten those fighters but he doesn't like the low reward high risk fights

EUBANK TRAINED THE CAMBRIDGE UNI TEAM A FEW YRS BACK AND THEY BEAT OXFORD 9-0 ! (HAVING LOST THE PREVIOUS 4 YRS !")

I never agree with this opinion of Eubank's that you have to lose to be a great fighter. Surely mixing in top class and never losing is a sign of greatness in itself. Does he dismiss Rocky Marciano?

He has some sort of system he uses in his autobiography to define greatness etc, specially designed to suit himself..

Nah mate, my Mrs knows him. She lives in Hove where Chris used to live.
