It's such a weird fight, with so many variables, but the way tito is such an underdog is kind of strange.

Roy has looked so fragile of late and looks awful in that king build up pic, is it possible that a fresher tito steps up and KO's old roy?

I think it's foreseeable.. roy is so shot that if tito comes out bombing we may see no defense left in the former defensive genius.

of course tito is stepping up soo far from his natural weight too.. but I think his power can travel up enough for roy. Just a thought. Of course he bombs out tito in 1 now...

If Trinidad couldn't put in good performances against Wright and Hopkins, I doubt he'll do it 15lbs heavier. Trinidad's walking weight isn;t much more so I think RJJ will box him for 12 rounds.

Can't believe his purse is what people says it is, easily a "just for the money" fight.

It would hardly be a major shock IMO were Trinidad to win. Of the 2 he has got to be the fresher.

Jones Jr knows what he wants to do but his engine is so worn out it won't let him do it. You're not going to see combinations from him.

Jones still has fast hands and he showed some good pacing vs Hanshaw.

But his legs are fvcked. His legs are like James Toney's at cruiser/heavy. For Jones' sake, let's hope he's become refined enough to fight with no legs.

I also heard he's hanging on the ropes a little too much nowadays?

More worrying is how Thomas Hauser in an article earlier this year I think, remarked there is a 'little more cotton' in Jones' voice nowadays. Shame to see these once great fighters carrying on too long and a reminder of how fast the years fly and how fleeting a fighter's prime is.

I'll look out for the result but wouldn't get any joy out of watching it as it's going to be their weaknesses and not strengths that will make the fight whatever it turns out to be.

Jones to win. Bigger, more active and I don't think Tito's power has carried up in weight.

Yeah, if Jones misses a leaping lead then Trinidad takes him with his flat feet impacting a mid-air or off-balance man.

It's only Tito, nothing to worry about. Other than his left hook, he ain't special.

In theory Jones wins this easily - he is naturally much, much bigger and has the better big fight record. He also looked decent if unremarkable in his most recent appearance, whilst Tito hasn't boxed in three years since being humiliated by Winky...

...the only thing is, it was weight that destroyed Jones in the first place when he went up to heavy and could never quite lose it again. I don't see those extra five pounds helping - in fact, I shall not be in the least surprised if he comes in overweight come the day. If Tito has anything left, then he could be a decent bet for a KO mid rounds if he makes it that far.

In my mind, though, this is a fight that the relevant commission should have stopped long ago.
