Well, Hello everyone, some of you might know me, but i could not log in anymore...doesn t matter
I would like to hear your thoughts on Danny s mandatory defense against Hernan Garay...i have seen him twice live on telly when he fought Zsolt Erdei...and gave Erdei a very tough fight...one fight he even did win, but you know...the judges in Europe...

well, looking forward to your comments, thoughts!

yes, it has been ordered, he has to fight him no later than 16th of april...
i think Danny has even two ways to win the fight....either staying on the outside, jabbing and outboxing him, or simply trading - which is of course very dangerous - punches on the inside....
what do YOU think?

well, i guess anybody can see on his moves, power and speed of punches, but also the overall activity of Green through his LHW fights now, that that these 3-4 kgs made him a fresher boxer...
Well, i am from slovakia and seen Erdei vs Garay live, but afraid i can t handle you any footage...what i remember, is that Garay is a real Brawler, pressurefighter, that throws punches from all the angles, haymakers, but i think no real quality in his punches...he made erdei look a loser there, cause Erdei is not enough tough mentally and he always had fears whether he could last the distance...I think Danny should keep the distance and outbox him...but also i would be very happy to see a Green-inside-uppercut KO.!:)

It would be a very hard fight for danny green,Garay likes works his left a lot that open's his head that danny could put him away with.Garay would be in frout of danny all night.its a hard 1 to pick.

How come the WBA has orderd Danny to have a Mandatory so quickly whereas Mundine hasn't been ordered to have one at all to my knowledge. Haven't all Mundines "defences" been voluntary? Or is Hamden a mandatory defence?

Does the WBA "regular" belt even have mandatories??? All it really means is that you are a step below the real WBA champ. I reckon that means Mundine should have to fight Calzaghe next, what will happen though is that Calzaghe will go up to Light Heavy and Mundine will be instated champ and then still fight scrubs...

2008 will probably be dannys last year as a pro, he should fight 3 times imo,

first up v Garay, in Perth, around march. good tough fight, if he losses he should probably retire, if he wins he should again fight in perth around august against a top 10 fighter, someone like Ulrich or Branco.

final fight, i would like to see green v briggs in perth, but it will probably be rematch with mundine

They really need to dithc the whole super/regular crap. You should either be recognized as the WBA as the current champion or as their #1 contender and thats it. There is no way that Mundine will fight Calzaghe, there is no money in it for Joe compared to what he can make fighting a couple of big names in the states.

hey mate, can i take these words for granted? did you get it from a serious source??
yes, Danny told a year ago, that he has 4-5 fights left, it could be right..oh man, i am such a huge fan, that my heart is aching when i imagine, that he would retire in the near future....my dream is to meet up with him and get a photo with him....

Garay should be tough, but if Danny sticks to a strict fightplan,it should be OK....garay has also huge body punches....
