I have a mate who has a pair of White Everlast Shorts & Bag Gloves that were used in training by Muhammad Ali at his training camp, they date back to the mid 1970's and the shorts have Ali's name printed on the tag, all genuine.

Ebay aside, does anyone on here know how much these items would be worth if sold in the U.K?

Give me a full lowdown on the provenance of said genuine items.

What proof is there its genuine?? Knowing Stepinfetchit/Search/Lirva and his lack of honour they are probably copies or a scam.

I would assume Ebay is place to sell the stuff, so whatever the buyers/bidders are willing to pay.

I collect boxing memorabilia, so certainly could give you a ball park idea.

Ali shorts are likely to sell for around 2,000 and the gloves, if their originals, should get around 5,000.

I've seen Mayweaher's vest from his pro debut go for 5,000 and Barrera's boots go for bout the same mark, and they don't have the same value as Ali, so I could be underselling here. However, they did have inscriptions, photos and the fight photo they were used in, which helped.

Golden rule, they must be certified. Without it, they'll probably get 500 for the gloves and bout the same for the shorts.

You just missed a boxing memorabilia show in November, but it might be worth taking it to a reputable broker to get them certified.

They came from his camp in Deer Lake, the shorts are his signature style of white with black trim have expressley made for Muhammad Ali on the tag and have blood spotting, the gloves are more clean with slight wear to the left.

The autenticity is not in question, they would pass any authentication, i was just interested to know what price someone would go to in this Country for these items.

BTW, these were used in training/sparring by Ali, not in a fight.

Yeah, I didn't want to over estimate to be safe. Here's one of the places I use. They have fight worn items for several thousands, so I wouldn't be suprised if he'd get double my estimates, probably more:

And a replica Hatton WBA,I think, belt sell for 1000. Only 5 made, Ray Hatton has one in his diner and Rooney has another.

Good place tp pick up bargains if you know what you're looking for.

best place to sell them is an auction at a Dinner show ,if you get a few rich drunk diners into a bidding war iv seen items go for way more than what they are worth.
