I KHAN’T HEAR YOU AMIR!

Thaxton ready to send out search party!!!

· Thaxton vs. Khan for the prestigious British Title

· Purse bids to be held Wednesday 9th January 2008 at Midday at the British Boxing Board of Control.

· “5 Days to go and I’m counting”

“After shooting your mouth off about me you’ve gone very quiet all of a sudden.”

"I believe you have never been in the ring with a puncher even close to my caliber, is this a coincidence? I don’t think so.”

“We will have a date for this fight in five days time at the official purse bid. I’m asking you to be a man and make sure you’re represented there. I’m either going to hand over a purse bid or four feathers, what’s it going to be Amir you decide ?”

Old news.

But what British prospect needs a hard hitting experienced veteran or the British title when he can prove himself against an unranked, unknown and obscure import with no punch power?

Come on, Amirs so great he doesn't even need to prove it against good fighters! Hell, he blasted out the corpse of Graham Earl, what else does he have to prove?

"Its oh so quiet......."

Whats the % purse split between challnger/champion if it goes to purse bids and are these %'s going to be enforced? I can't see FW giving JT the strong majority of the purse.

It looks to me as though Khan is going to side-step/avoid JT else surely he would have fought him next and cleared up the British scene, instead of fighting a non-punching Dane!!

Warren wont put his investment at risk until he's made his money. He's gonna be putting kahn in with feather-fisted boxers for some time yet. Bet he shit a brick when Limond put him on his arse.

Well if he does as appears to be the plan go in with Michael Katsidis for the WBO title then dispite being the weaker champion we'll see his chin checked so he'll have to have learned punch resistance or evasion better than he displaied in his last couple with his over excited hay makers.
