The fight is at the 02 and there are 1100 ringside tickets including rip off Britain booking fees. Tickets are a lot for a fight that might not see the 2nd round. Hope there is a good under card. Needs to generate alot of money with each fighter rumored to be earing near the 3/4 million mark.

I will never go to a fight again. Much better on TV, and virtually free.

fornicating hell, was thinking of buying tickets for this fight but if I have to pay £60 for the crap seats then I'll give it a miss.

apparantly ray hatton will do you a deal, onlt 1500 quid for the 1100 quid ones...bargain !!!

Ringside is shocking but floor/tiered is bout right. Those tickets were 75-100 for Khan v Limond and the cheap seats are alot closer than the MEN.

Cheaper for me to go to Paris for Haye/Mormeck and sit ringside than to go to London and sit in the cheapest seats

I was interested in buying tickets for the fight, was even thinking about ringside. Never thought they would be £1100 for ringside. Well, my interest has now evaporated!

Haye-Maccarinelli may indeed be a good, entertaining fight, but it's not worth £1100 for ringside, no way!

My only thinking is that prices are so high because allegedly has had to pay through the nose to Haye!

Seetiockets is a bit annoying- a 10% mark up on the face value, AND a " transaction fee."

What exactly is that? A fee for being sold a ticket? Imagine if other shops did that- " £20 for petrol, plus £1 fee for us to put your money in the till... "

Still, they don't charge for postage.

But yeah, seems a rip off to me, to be honest. I very much doubt it will be full.

This is a complete rip off if it's true. Still, if anyone's foolish enough to pay that kind of cash................

tell you one thing that you won't find mentioned as this fight gets closer.......the hype that goes with this one will be so huge that it will in no way reflect the actual quality that will be on show. A great big and very American style fuss will be made over and over again on BORING adverts about knockout this and knockout that (basically appealing to the dumbest common denominator), when what you'll be getting is a guy that's been built up on too many pushovers and another guy with question marks over both his chin and stamina, who win or lose will claim he's boxing at the wrong weight.

what put you off (assuming you haven't been forking out these kinds of prices), was it anything in particular. I've been to plenty of doestic fights, normally paying 20-30 quid and I can't ever say it hasn't been worth it.

They do need to get something decent for the undercard!

That is insane pricing. Are they really going to sell them at that price. It's not like it's a big show in Vegas, I find it hard to envisage who they would sell them to.

I was contemplating ringside for this, but I would much rather go to the Carribean for a week, 5*all inclusive thankyou very much!

To pay that amount for a ringside ticket for this fight, you will have to be as dumb(and rich)as your average premiership footballer, and I fully expect the O2 to be crawling with them on March 8th

Yet again, the genuine fan get's priced out.

Would be the none Boxing people, as a previous poster mentioned the Football types and swish brigade who just want to be seen ringside on the TV. The real fans pay £25 to see James Gorman V Gary Hamilton at the Park Avenue Hotel on a wet, freezing Saturday night...so leave those prices well alone

Doubt it. Warrens gonna hype this like there's no tomorrow. 02 is 18,000 capacity and in London. I'm sure it will sell out in the end. Worth keeping an eye out on ebay the week before the fight , might be able to pick up a ticket a bit cheaper than face value.

This is what pisses me off about Warren, he makes a good fight then rips off the real fans. Kessler Calzaghe tickets were £60 for the nosebleed seats and with a terrible undercard. I can get flights to Vegas, hotel at MGM and ringside seats for Pac/JMM for cheaper than ringside at this. It's a joke.

It depends on the lay out - there are only a small number of fixed seats and the rest are imported. Having said that, the ones that are fixed are pretty awful...

I was lower tier for Khan Limond, and upper tier wasn't that far back at all. Imagine about half the height of the upper tier at MEN.

However, they may increase it for this fight, although they can't go much higher otherwise the balconies won't be able to see shit.

I tend to opt for cheaper seats, as a rule, but never the cheapest seats.

Also when you go to make a booking it doesn't tell you your seat number, which is kind of annoying. Sometimes just 5 rows back can be £50 different.

That is f'n ridiculous. As good as the fight is, neither man is a Calzaghe or Hatton to the general public, so no way is Joe Bloggs going to fork out these sums for this fight - and by the sounds of it, not many of us will, either. FW might be shooting himself in the foot with this one.

As for the undercard, if the main event fighters are indeed getting these sort of purses, then forget about it. When FW has had to seriously fork out for a main event in the past, the undercards have been rubbish (see Hatton-Tszyu and Calzaghe-Kessler).

I was going to go, but only cheap seats, however at £60, and the cost of getting to O2, I ,unfortunatley ,will give it a miss.

They certainly need at least one or two more big fights on this show. The rest of the undercard is usually of little or no interest to 90% of the crowd anyway.

In my experience at these big arena shows most people don't arrive 'til long after the first fight, and pile out after the main event.
