Witty one liner trash talk

Takaloo’s ‘I’ll beat him so bad when he wakes up his clothes will be out of fashion’ got me considering other quality one liners.

Ali had a few good ones ‘If you even dream about beating me you better wake up and apologise’

Bowe telling Lewis he’d end up wearing a canvas suit if they fought.

Naz probably had a few

Any more memorable ones come to mind?

No-one was better than Ali:

http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/autho ... d_ali.html

My favourite is from When We Were Kings/Rumble In The Jungle press conference:

"Last night I had a dream, when I got to Africa, I had one hell of a rumble. I had to beat Tarzan’s behind first, for claiming to be King of the Jungle. For this fight, I’ve wrestled with alligators, I’ve tustled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning and put thunder in jail. You know I’m bad. I have murdered a rock, I’ve injured a stone, and hospitalized a brick. I’m so bad, I make medicine sick.
I’m so fast, man, I can run through a hurricane and don't get wet. When George Foreman meets me, he’ll pay his debt. I can drown the drink of water, and kill a dead tree. Wait till you see Muhammad Ali."

How he came up with that infront of a TV camera, is beyond me.

Zab Judah's trainer came out with this line, before the PBF fight -

"All we're bringing is hard dick and bubble gum. And we're fresh out of bubble gum!"

Obviously not for art lovers, but pretty funny all the same :D

I believe he nicked that line off a famous American football coach.

It was nasty but when Cory Spinks dedicated the fight vs Mayorga to his dead mother and Mayorga said "don't worry you'll be seeing her soon!"

Mayorga is a truly wold class clown

Randall 'Tex' Cobb during his 15 round battering by Larry Holmes

"Hey, you're a white guy, do something about this!" To the ref in the Holmes fight

"Let's party!" To Holmes as they touched gloves for round 15.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

And his quote for all you boxing writers

"Boxing writers are the only people out there who have less constructive jobs than what I do. I don't do nothing but hit people, and those mothers don't do nothing but write about what I do!"

Tex Cobb was boxing's king of the one liners. Before the Holmes battering he was asked if he'd ever been knocked down

“Once by a 119-pound Mexican,” he said. “Someone was swinging him by the heels.”

The fight was televised by ABC, and sportscaster Howard Cosell complained that he would have to be away from home on Thanksgiving.

“I know,” said Cobb. “His wife sent me a thank you card.”

"I'll f**k you bad I'll make you love me" Mike Tyson to a reporter prior to Lewis fight. Something along those lines anyway,

I always thought Duke Nukem was original in his saying, "it's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum...and I'm all outta gum".

Chuck Wepner, On the day of the fight with Muhammd Ali ,he bought his wife a negligee and presented it to her with the words: "Tonight, honey, you'll be sleeping with the heavyweight champion of the world." He returned after the fight with a face all beaten up. His wife, sitting in her new nightwear, said: "Well, is Muhammad coming here, or am I going to his place?"

No, but Duke nicked that line from the John Carpenter movie "They Live"
Starring "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who i believe came up with the line some time before he starred in the movie.

you can get some awful one's said in a pub. Once a guy said to my mate "You smoke your fag, i'll drink my pint, then i'll meet you outside" . My mate twatted him.

I'm not into the prison-style trash talk - prefer something sharp and/or witty.

I think my favourite is, "I don't want no has-been messing in my corner. And you better get that bad look off your face before I knock it off." :box:  :box:

I once shouted to a rather overweight girl at school "Oi, roll over here."

She slapped me. Hard.

I have a personal favourite, but I'm not sure who said it; it worked its way into my lexicon but I'm damn sure I'm not smart enough to make it up. Anyway, without further ado...

... you may not recognise your mother/girlfriend/wife when you get home tonight, because after I finished fornicating her I shaved her back.

It may not even have been him. His entourage came up with some of his stuff.
